I know I’m several years late but I’m curious if you could flip it 180 degrees so that the input is on top and have the outputs for the axle shafts sit lower?

We supply those too, but you cannot do that with an existing unit.

What are your thoughts on a lsd vs a spool center?

Most pro guys run spool, some have an LSD with them in the truck that they sometimes swap in but majority always runs spool. I think for chasing its better to run a spool, on some courses like Nürburgring where we drive the curb can also lift a wheel which will make you lose traction sooner with an LSD, seen it happen a few times. One very experienced very technical German champion driver was always running LSD and anti spool , he's now on spool and prefers it.

Planning on buying two 8” ultralight Winters quick change diffs for an Electric Awd 325ix. Electric motors and diffs in front and rear for hill climb. Its already in the worx with chemical dip the body/chassis and ready for cage and reinforcement and removable tube core support. Were also doing carbon panels and roof. Alcon big brakes work wheels. Any thoughts?

Use the big gears as they are a LOT stronger. Electric motors make a lot of torque, well at least for a short period The smaller gears are ok for a midget or say a 2 litre tintop.

what are the upgrades that differ from other quick changes and if a manufacturer were to lower the drivetrain enough to fit a spiral bevel diff with helical cut gears wouldnt that be the best of both worlds?

Yeah, spiral bevel loses the least power. The upgrades are in quality of sprockets, bearings, seals, shafts but also the setup/backlash is different from stock.

@@DriftJesus oh wow so its weaker hmmm wonder why they would have made a weaker one and called it the latest update?? Also are these as loud as a straight cut transmission?

@@pourtierbeatz7804 are we talking about the same? The is a smaller 8.3/8 version. That is a lot weaker. There has been a casing update, but that's same weight and size, its not proven enough for us to use yet. About the noise, the ones we sell are not very loud because the backlash is set specifically for drifting. They also run cooler and less stressed than standard specification. From inside the car you can't hear them much.

@@pourtierbeatz7804 ours are quiet enough, many of them are super loud. Because of incorrect settings for drift. They need specific tolerances for that, not the same as drag racing.
