Mythic Legions: Lady Avarona isn't what I expected...

The hole in the back is to accommodate an adaptor that is made for plugging in wings and other accessories. She didn't come with the adaptor, because this particular character doesn't have wings. As far as having to be told how to put belts and other accessories on the figure, that's part of the beauty of the line. There isn't a right or wrong way. If it's frustrating because everything is falling off or acting loose, then change it up. You don't have to put everything on the figure. It's about having options. As far as pricing goes, yeah it's $50 from a retailer, but she was $37 if preordered directly from the Four Horsemen. With that in mind, there's a metric ton of value in this figure.

Figures made for folks who like versatility, customization and being able to display how you want. They do take for granted that you'll figure things out or deduce how things go. Experimentation and ingenuity go a long way.

I would like to mention the $49.99 price tag is the price set by Four Horsemen for Retailers. They offer pre orders directly from Four Horsemen where the prices are lower

Hi all. Sorry if it has lready been posted but Id didn't see the answer through a quick scroll of the comments. Mythic legion figures generally all have the hole in the back. Most figures come with 2 tabs which can slot in. I think eventually they slowed down with the tabs because all the collectors end up with a box full. The tabs are used to install wings from other figures / the previous line of figures. A part of the ML community is into modding / kitbashing, so they like to keep options open to add in the wings. The round holes in the back can be used to plug wings in directly. However, if you're using pauldrons they wont fit / look off, so the tab creates distance between the body and the wings, allowing you to have pauldrons and wings. My favorite Mythic Legions figure by far is Pixxus. Blue skeleton spartan warrior boy named after Pixel Dan? I adore it. They've done some seriously amazing stuff. Great video, despite not personally collecting the majority of what you review, I've been binging your stuff lately. Awesome stuff man!

The hole in the back is a common thing for Mythic Legions. It is for an adapter so that some figures can have wings and shoulder paundrons at the same time. This figures are modular so if you get wings from this line you can display them on your Avaronq figure.

So Mythic Legions just did a blind box of two figures, one new and one old chase. I ended up getting Lady Avarona as the new figure. I understand your frustration, I immediately took a broad sword from the other chase figure I received, and gave it to her!

Dude the reason there is no instructions for how to put belts on the figure is because u can put it anywhere u want and u don't half to follow anything. Infact if u don't want any belts just don't put it on

Yes, the packaging is intentionally designed like that to be collector friendly. Can put em in, take em out. The plastic piece under the soft goods is kind of an inside joke sorta. They started out plastic and they added the soft goods. So it's just two options for your preference. That's just how they ship them. There's no directions because its all custom, do whatchu want! 😊 So now the big question, when are you joining the cabal? 😂

You should get the Duban figure. He has everything you wish for in a fantasy character.

I was a huge fan of the line and loved it, but they have gotten really expensive, it used to be cheaper to buy straight from the 4H website but they have the most ridiculous absurd, super bogus, overly expensive shipping I have ever seen. Like 3 figures cost like almost an additional 60 bucks to ship to Texas plus the taxes they now charge really puts it a very high price. The shipping used to be very reasonable but it tripled their last pre-order on the 4 horsmen website. Some online retailers used to sell them for the same 4 horsemen price of 37 dollars and offered free shipping, but sadly those online retailers that did that got in trouble with 4H and were forced to put them at 49.99. One website tried to clearance or temporary sale on the moss man tribute figure and then someone bragged about it on Facebook, 4H saw it and acted immediately and the online retailer got a harsh talkin-too by 4H and they had to put it at 49.99 again.

Yah legions don't usually come with instructions on how to attach accessories, having to attach a cape for the first time was really a pain.

So it’s reuse of the Lady Hadriana figure. That figure comes with the back adapter that would fit in that spot on the back. Great review btw!

I’ve been looking at this line for a while but space is limited and I never made the leap. I recently picked up the neca Grimsword and it’s got me wanting some more generic fantasy stuff and these seem to be the gold standard for that.

Mythic legions and neca turtles are my two main collection lines (also wwe figs)

These figures are phenomenal.

Also, the Four Horsemen do make stands for their figures.

The whole technical aspect of this video is high quality,video,sound,heck even the cheesy special effects are neat.But with that being said I don’t know if you were tired or is just your personality but man I felt like tossing my cell against the wall several times while watching this review lol perhaps it was your 5th take on this video but anyways good work sorta,I guess practice makes perfect 🙂
