Mythology-Smashing Cult Classic Hack & Slash ARPG! - Titan Quest: Anniversary Edition 

EYYYYY im hyped, titan quest is one of my top3 games of all time. i played the english demo back in about 2006 (im not native englishspeaking) and im still playing this from time to time. get it in steam, get it in a sale, get the addons in a sale as well and spend easily thousands of hours exploring up to 5 mythologies (greek, egyptian, eastern, north,...) im glad i see this game on this channel and i hope it might get some more range, as it really went unknown the last decade :)

As the years go by the more and more and more I love this game. It is truly a timeless classic. And there's some completely unique things that TQ did that we still haven't seen in other games! For example one of the things that I loved a lot was that enemies actually wear their drops and use those stats. For most of the game you don't really notice it, but on higher difficulties you will encounter a basic Satyr equiped with a legendary bow absolutely surprising you out of nowhere or an undead Hoplite with a legendary shield tanking so much more than he should; such a great system. And easiest of all... The setting! I mentioned it under the Grim Dawn video as well, I am absolutely sick of the zombies and demons theme. That's Diablo. All other ARPGs should find their own theme and TQ does exactly that! Very much one of my absolute all time favourite games.

I loved how linear this one is. Not all games have to be this massive open world that you explore with side paths everywhere. Give my character a journey, leveling along the way to signify growth while also throwing stronger monsters until finally reaching the big bad behind it all.

Titan Quest is a fun game that came out at an inopportune time. Back in 2006, everyone was playing THQ games were playing either Warhammer 40K or Company of Heroes.

Haruspex is an excellent build, IMO. But you have to pick either bow (or throwing weapons, from Ragnarok) or spear early on and stick with it/build for it on your skill trees. You also need an attack skill to replace the basic attack. Just like in Grim Dawn.

Been playing this recently and gotta say, its a great game and holds up, especially with the speed up option. I wish i was rich, I'd give them as much money as they needed for a Titan Quest 2

I *love* Titan Quest! I never got on with Grim Dawn but I go back to Titan Quest again and again. Love it.

I loved using the Dream skill class with a strong club. Gave some really hilarious ragdolls with the Phantom Strike (Dream Stealer) attack. Can't remember what I used for my second class, I think it was Warfare though. I like to save my attribute points for a few levels until I find a weapon or armor I want to use personally.

Titan Quest, Diablo and Last Epoch. My 3 avourite ARPGs, and i played quite a lot XD

The undead can be dangerous in large groups, unless you have Spirit Mastery as a class and the ability that weakens them while strengthening your attacks against them. As for loot, I usually filtered anything grey or white, then picked up only double-enchanted yellow items(and any jewelry). The green items were where things got interesting through, thanks to the percentage-based bonuses. E.g. a Veteran's [weapon] of Terror was usually worth a look.

I used to play the heck out of this. I honestly like it more than D2 and it's one of the few games I've actually purchased the soundtrack for. I used to use the X-Max (I think?) mod to get the huge numbers of enemies but there were some places it would bug the game out since there weren't meant to be so many bosses. I think it was in the pyramid? Anyway, yea...going to shut up because I could talk about this game for hours and not run out of stuff to say.

The controller seems fine for a melee build, but it looks like it would be a pain for trying to aim ranged skills. I suppose at a certain point you have enough mana to spam and/or aoe that aiming stops mattering, but before that point I wouldn't want to give up the fine control of the mouse cursor.

You mention telestab, and I'm automatically thinking of Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Xmen: Legends and the insanely broken but satisfying character's that were Nightcrawler and Deadpool.

I dig TQ and Grim Dawn. TQ especially, though. I still think the day/night cycle visuals are excellent. I got it when it first came out, on disc, and I thought it was better than Diablo 2.

I've had this game in my library for a while after getting it for free and I didn't know it it was any good, time to find out!

You could also play most of this on your phone and it plays alright

this game and grim dawn needs you to invest a lot of time in it to make it worth . I am talking about min 30 H and thats a min. Also the multiplayer on this game is fun if you can do it with friends. If you do feel like playing it of screen then try to use your own chest to store your things you dont use yet. Also ,some side quests give perma stats for like minions or poisonprotect and so on so best to try to clear most quests.

For some reason I've always loved this game, even though I've never gotten very far in it, and I can still hear one of the NPCs shouting Hera keep you. On the topic of controller support, Grim Dawn actually implemented the steam controller API, so it has excelent controller support, though you might want to check the community configs.
