I don't really believe in any. I just pray to God to keep me safe and get me through things. If these theories or myths were really true I think they would be abused and used everyday.
Agreed 100%. Those who believe in God know he is omnipotent. Why then would you need to observe a superstition to "be safe?" I think for most it's more about a funny thing (a superstition) that you do - like crossing your fingers - and for the rest they are really serious about it (and have no logical reason why).
Lol well she is Christian not Catholic I think that's why she never really learned but she's just doing a her physical representation of the cross instead of this holy trinity. Either way I was dying laughing 😂
iman campbell I just found it funny that she didn't know how to draw a cross. Like I'm a non denominational Christian and we don't do the sign of the Cross but like if I wanted to I know how to draw one just from seeing crosses before. But hey who knows. 😄😄😄😄😄
I hold my stomach if i'm watching something demonic i hold a bible in front of my stomach to keep demons away i don't know why i started doing that but it works for me.

Lol I felt the same way when she said that but I'm wondering what if you go to the cemetery itself to take flowers and stuff ain't you inhaling enough ghosts then....
that one is definitely not true. I've lived down the street from a cemetery my whole life and I've never heard of that superstition until just now. If it were true then every ghost from the cemetery should be in my house. If something had followed me or any of my family members home in the past 20 years I'd definitely know by now.
The one that says you shouldn't see your future spouse the day before your weeding, is not a superstition. In old times, mariages were mostly (maybe even all of them) arranged. It was not just about marrying someone, it came with benefits for both families. So, to keep the bride and the groom away from each other was a way of making sure that there are no disagreement or trouble.
I don't think I have many superstitions, but whenever I sneeze, I have this thinking that maybe someone is thinking of me. If I shiver randomly, 'someone has walked over my grave'. I always think this whenever I do these two things.

Yeah I remember Tamar doing the cake thing at her last b-day party but I didn't understand it then. And I totally believe in the not seeing the fiance thing but that's about it.
I didn't know about holding your breath when passing by a cemetery but I do I know the one that you can't point at a cemetery. But I'm superstitious about opening up a umbrella indoors
The only one I'm superstitious about is splitting the pole. When I was a kid, one of my cousins always told me that I had to say "peanut butter and jelly" if I split the pole. I still do so till this day lol.
The show is NOT the same without the OGs (Tamar, Tamera, Loni, Adrianne, Jeannie) :( I still binge the old shows and skip the new ones :/ unsure if its because it's not on set or the chemistry of the OGs cant be replaced

I've heard and experienced that if your right hands palm itches then you will be receiving money and if your left palm itches, then you will be giving some away. Be it for a bill, ticket, to someone for anything lol.

Man, being Haitian you hear all kinds of superstitions, but I only think some are true. Well, that's only if another person from a different culture tells me the same thing. My mom would say if you cut a lil boy's hair before he talks, then he will have difficulty talking! I thought it was a damn lie until my uncle's dad (who is not Haitian, but from the islands) said the exact same thing about his son who is 8 and you can barely understand what he says.

We stayed away from each other for an entire week before our wedding day and surprisingly he didn't have an issue with it. If I remember right, he stayed with his mom and I stayed at my grandparents house. We will be celebrating our 7th year this month. #stillinlove

omg I remember watching an episode of the Fairly Odd Parents and in that episode they stepped on a crack on the side walk that would hurt Timmy's mom's back and everytime I got mad at my mother i stepped on a crack 😂
I remember the whole Bloody Mary legend during my childhood. In elementary school the restrooms were really dark and after school my friends and I would go into the girls bathroom and try to see if it worked it didn't but my guy friend said that he tried it in the boys restroom and he saw her. So long story short my friends and I snuck into the boys bathroom to try it, got caught and got detention for three days.
What I do is when I'm listening to regular music and pass by a church that is having service or funeral I turn the music down 🙏 just showing respect for God's house.
Ya'll are something else.. As believers, all of this foolishness should have went out the window as soon as you invited Jesus into your heart and asked him to be Lord of your life.. Do you know that if you rely on any other force other than God himself to bless you or to allow curses into your life that you are allowing spirits of witchcraft and demonic presence/evil to work in your life?? These things seem innocent and child like to those who don't know Jesus, but once you give your life to Christ, even the word/Bible says that you should leave this foolishness alone.. You are manipulating laws of the universe through forces of darkness that are not like God when you lend your mind, will and emotions (ie. your soul) to this kind of nonsense.. Evil spirits don't need your verbal consent to come into your life.. When you lend your body in any way shape or form to works of darkness you give the Devil/ghosts/spirits of darkness permission to come into your life rather you know that or not-and not all spirits make themselves known like they do in movies when someone is physically possessed. These things are all fear based and when you answer any circumstance in life out of fear you allow the enemy to work in your life.. When you answer these things out of faith (being in agreement with God) you allow God's blessings.. Ya'll need to get serious about your faith and stop advertising yourselves as followers of Christ when it is very apparent that you are straddling the fence when it comes to your faith.. You're sending mixxed messages to believers and non believers alike and God is not pleased with this stuff.. Please read your Bible..
Agreed 100%. God is omnipotent, i.e. in control (read Acts/Eph). If you are His you will never need the protection of observing a superstition under the guise of keeping you safe, happy, well, or whatever else. Loni is right - stay away from things you don't understand like superstition/dark arts/magic (read Duet/Isaiah). And don't forget - the devil is roaming seeking who he can devour (read 1 Peter 5:8). Think on that rather than some foolishness.
