MZ Wallace Large Pippa | Why I am returning it + review + try on 

I have this bag in classic black. I love mine. I bought it because I wanted to declutter and bring less stuff-wallet, keys, tissue, alcohol, mask, airpods, pen, lipstick, vaxx card-and be able to find everything. It is not meant to hold a lot. The mesh strap is for crossbody, the thin leather and the wrapped metal are meant as shoulder options and not really for crossbody.

Thanks for the videos and honest opinion on the Pippa. I struggled with wether to buy it or not. So I went ahead and decided to buy it and I absolutely love it but I do not pack it as you have it. It does look awkward and just weird with all you have in it. I don’t think that was MZ’s Intentions with this bag to be over stuffed. It is not your typical cross body bag. Its not meant to be packed like you would your normal MZ Wallace Sutton or Metro which I have. This is a beautiful bag and have worn it out and gotten so many compliments on it. One of my dearest friends has the LV Coussin which is gorgeous, which this bag seems to mimic and mine looks so much better stuffed as I have it. But agree it’s a beautiful bag. And the straps are stunning. Thanks for the video. It helped a lot in my decision making.

Totally agree about the price point and the straps! 😣 The leather AND the white metal leather straps are pretty much a waste. Only the cotton caramel and white strap is really useful ~ which gives it more a casual/sporty look. I did choose my flattest pouches for this bag to make sure not to bulk up the bag and actually that worked out for me (Dagne Dover pouch & LV mini pouchette). I’m thinking of getting a long vachetta leather strap for it, and a gold chain to dress it up. It will end up being EVEN more expensive, but I love that it is light weight and I do like the accordion style, plus it does hold a good amount! It’s for sure not a mommy-for-kids bag! More just for mom and a couple of small items for kids. My kids are 7 and 8 yo so they don’t need as much stuff!

I have it in black and love it. It holds much but isn't meant to haul tons (if that makes sense). I can totally understand your points and opinions. Try the new Mia, it is amazing.

Thank you for sharing and giving your honest feedback. I haven’t tried Pippa, but I know there are many mzw Pippa lovers out there. I think you have to pack it VERY minimal, and I’ve wondered if the regular size is better suited for that than the large. I also don’t get the price point on the large. I’ve heard there are more Pippa colors coming this year, so I’m waiting to try the regular Pippa in a color I love

I was thinking about doing the same thing with the leather strap because I dont care for the cotton strap....I notice the models on the MZ website were'nt wearing the bag as crossbody so that ⚠️ cautioned me... my second concern was how the bag would look when packed...bulky...🧐😵 so I don't feel bad about NOT getting it. I got another Sling.. the Sunflower 🌻and a Small Max. Thanks for the 🎥 😊

Oh wow. That’s a truly crazy price and for it to look hideous when packed is even crazier.

That's too bad because I bought the Fall purple and feel the exact same way. If it was empty, perfect but filled it does lose the pretty shape

It reminds me a large version of a Kipling pouch which doesn't translate well for an standalone bag.

Hey! Thanks for the review! I'm waiting on mine to be delivered. I wonder if you didn't use pouches if it would help? I'm a pouch packer too, but plan to use all the pockets as pouches instead. Maybe give it a try before you return. 😊

That is clearly an everyday schlepping around bag. Do you really need a big thing of wipes? If you have kids...this is clearly not an everyday bag for you. Nice review!

Oh my that is not a good look-if I wanted to pack a bag minimally I would just get a smaller bag, this bag was designed to be packed with a lot of items hence all the pockets and room but the design is flawed-just awful😮

The purse definitely looks terrible when you start putting stuff in it.
