Não tragais: A 'Wuthering Heights' Curtal Tribute 

Today I mistyped "curtail" as "curtal" and MS Word didn't flag it as misspelled. So naturally I googled "curtal," which eventually led me here, where I've discovered yet another wonderful Renaissance-era wind instrument. Wish I could see Unholy Rackett live someday.

One of the strangest things I've ever seen on RU-vid -- I like it! That's some fine curtal playing ;-)

While chuckling quietly to myself, you raise the question, "Where has the curtal been all my life?" Which stands only secondarily to the query, "What is that Unholy Rackett?" I've heard of these, being a soft touch for historic music, but never seen 'em depicted until now. So glad you've made and broadcast the discovery. Thanks!
