Nice! Erinnert mich sehr an meine Zeit im SLK 280! Hatte damals vor den Kurven bei hoher Drehzahl oft den Wahlhebel nach links gezogen, sodass er im manuellen Modus in dem Gang geblieben ist und nicht hochgeschaltet hat, sobald man leicht vom Gas gegangen ist. Damit verlierst Du aus der Kurve heraus keine Zeit mit dem kick down und hast ein besseres feedback. Hast einen guten Fahrstil. Weiterhin viel Spaß damit!
Danke für dein Feedback! Werde ich beim nächsten Mal auf jeden Fall versuchen. Das Auto lässt sich im manuellen Modus allerdings nicht so optimal fahren bzw. ist sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig.
as owners say and even car reviewer sites say how bad manual is in these cars or possibly any merc for that matter and that the auto box is the best and should always be the chosen option. also as with any v6 they are lazy like v8, so will sounds fast, but the gearing is a bit of a slouch, still fast cars though.
@@thesilentgametestrAs an ex owner of two SLK r170 (a 200Kompressor 192 hp and a 320 218 hp both fitted manual shiftgear) I agree at some extent with your comment.The MB manual gearbox clearly was not intended to fulfil a sporty customer's expectations, however the automatic transmission was even worse if possible :) I tested an SLK 32 AMG and the automatic transmission really let me down. Conversely the autom.can be a better choice if you like a more relaxed driving style. Hopefully things got a bit better on the following series r171 /172 yet I have no personal experience.
Ich habe auch einen seit letztem Jahr Juni. Aber auf die Idee gekommen, damit über den Ring zu heizen, bin ich bisher nicht. Liegt wohl daran, daß das Fahrzeug dafür auch gar nicht gebaut ist. Das ist ein Cruiser für die Landstrasse und kein Rennsportwagen. Alleine die Automatik ist viel zu träge und das Fahrwerk absolut null tauglich dafür. Ganz abgesehen von der fehlenden Steifigkeit der Karosserie. Nicht jedes Fahrzeug, in dem ein dicker Motor sitzt, ist für den Ring gebaut.

That's like comparing a steak and a roast dinner. Obviously an old M3 will post a quicker time provided the driver is used to it. The two cars are totally different.
Slk series since the earliest r170 wasn't conceived and engineered as a real sport car...rather a fast sporty commuter.However as a former 200K and 320 slk owner I can say that as a day driver they were excellent in most respects. I actually was looking for some upgrades on the 320 yet I realized that the result wouldn't be worth the expense: no way could an slk keep up with an M3 or even a stock Boxter when it comes to responsiveness and handling. So,it's not a true lacking of slk project it's a pretty much different concept.
@@cee5212 I owned a few and you are right. More money to get one and then the costs of repairs lol. Never a M3 anymore. Thereby, comparing an M3 with a 350 is stupid. Put the 55 AMG next to your M3 and talk then
An old SLK 55 AMG is faster then your old M3 and a normal old E36 doesn't even have a stock 3.5 L lol. Even the SLK R170 32 AMG is with his 3.2 L faster as the E36 M3 3.2
