Most people do it per gallon. I do not, so I don’t say my mix rates. I do it advanced, I have the sprayer calibrated for me. I can teach ya, or just do it 1 gallon for 1000sq ft
Right👍🏻 The one that really helped a ton for me was humic12 = N-ext Humic 12 Application - RGS Milorganite Before And After 6/20/18 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4bShBg0Si4M.html
Ohh please do combine this! This is my fave power hit! Do not combine all 4 bios, they don’t work as well together. This comes directly from the owner JP, will it hurt anything no, but you don’t get the best effects out of them doing them All in one go about. Do NOT combine them as straight products, they need to be diluted in water. So fill your container 1/2 up to amount you are going to use with water, then add your RGS and Air8, then fill up to desired amount with water. There is water in my container when I add my products.
..... well, no..... but yes. Let me explain. Humic amends the soil and over time it will allow the soil to drain better as it releases nutrients and promotes the soil organisms and worms to break it down making it better. This process takes years, but is years ahead of nature. Air8 will work immediately, getting into the soil, causing micro fissures in the soil, allowing the Humic (or in my power hits case, RGS) to get deeper into the soil profile quicker. And works over the whole season it’s applied. So as you see, yes and no... both are a very handy tool. Make sense?
Monthly at full rates for temps, menaing 6oz or 3 oz (above 85 degrees) RGS and 9 oz of air8. Or I like 2 oz rgs and 5 oz Air8 every two weeks. My applications are not this often, you can see how often mine are lol... from my vids .
It’s phenomenal on new sod! I have my local clients run this all the time to Establish better root systems quicker from the sod. diygrasscare.com/products/0-0-1-rgs-root-growth-bio-stimulant-sea-kelp-n-ext?_pos=1&_psq=Rg&_ss=e&_v=1.0 diygrasscare.com/products/0-0-5-air-8-liquid-aeration-bio-stimulant-humic-acid-n-ext?_pos=1&_psq=Air+8&_ss=e&_v=1.0 It can be used on the soil b4 placing sod, or on top of the sod, as long as it’s not saturated and you’re causing walking issues on it.
Hey Beau, so I had 45 oz of product in the tank and 211 oz of water, on this application for 3000sqft. Then, I can’t remember if I showed it on the camera, I water each zone in with 1/4” of water.
No per say synthetic ferts... I ran Milo last year, this year N-ext 18-0-1.... and going to try carbon X all, have nitrogen... but are soil based vs a traditional synthetic N-P-K
Mr Gary so, you use the same program of soil amendments, but use urea.... I feel we both are conscious of the environment using products that amend the soil vs just feeding the grass... correct? I wish I could have a good soil ph like u, jealous! I have 7.9 ph.....
Best and recommended is ortho. But if you do it correctly backpack sprayers work really well. Here is the trick, never mix more then 1:7, which usually means double passes or my method..... which I will tell you in an email JeremyofTheGreenerLawn@gmail.com ... I don’t want people trying this without knowing how to do it. I’m not going to be responsible 😁 Email me and I’ll give ya the easiest way I have found.
Just put down fungicide, carbon x and bio stim pack all on sat, back to back to back. Got it done when I could with all the rain and my schedule. Now I have nothing to do but mow, no more throw down for a little while.
@@TheGreenerLawn yes preventative, we had a lot of rain last week and not much sun with warmer temps, so I wanted to make sure I'm good before it happens.
My Texas weather has been bi polar. Up and down with consistent rain. Now we are in the low to mid 90's with no rain. It's officially summer here. Lawn plans went out the door once I got my irrigation system put in. Just trying to get the grass to fill in the trenched areas.
Douglas Blacksill if you have it, paint the bare spots black with Humic12, I have seen really great results with that. Add a topical application of RGS at 3 oz per 1k, it will jump out of the ground!
@@TheGreenerLawn That's what iv been doing. Plus 18-0-1 and ammonium sulfate. I put a little over a 1lb of N to get it to spread. Going out with humic 12 and 002 tonight.
My plan for the spring went South, so I'm trying to figure out what should I be doing. All the rain that we have seen had really missed up my plan and mowing schedules. The yard looks good but I want to start reel mowing but concerned if it's ready for it our not. Wish you or Conner can make some sort of suggestions 🤔
Drone Maddness next time I’m down your way ... thinking some time this week, I’ll swing by and check it out! Utah is like that... all over the place...
Weather pattern has being a rollercoaster, plenty of rain too. I think we are over the hump at least temperature wise, still plenty of rain here in Cleveland area.
@@TheGreenerLawn Around here the average summer temperature is 85 but we do get into the 90 but I'll say maybe 2 weeks total. I thought we were over the hump but again back in highs of low 60. I do love it and the lawn is not looking to bad.
Only one I’d spread out is humic12... other products have humic in it already, so it’s good to give it a bump.... but wouldn’t hurt anything if done all on the same day. 👍🏻
Thank you! , i manage a property and the homeowner has asked me to do it all at once , but i didn't want it to be less effective than spreading the applications out
Do you water immediately after? Or let it stay on the grass for awhile first? Or don't water after at all? I wasn't sure how that works or if one way is preferred
After you mix all your products in your tank sprayer do you fill the rest up with water? I have a 2 gallon round up tank sprayer that I would like to use to put my N-ext products in.
Dietrick McKinney make sure you do a triple rinse on any tank to flush and clean it... especially a glyphosate tank. You don’t want to kill your grass. When it comes to talking about using a tank mix and spray I like to talk directly to people via email. So I make sure it’s clear. Mind emailing me at JeremyofTheGreenerLawn@gmail.com I will explain it all there.
How much water should be put down after the FIRST application of Air8? Lingering, endless summer heat here in the midwest transition zone- kyb/tttf mix, heavy gray clay soil.
Personally I like 1/2” to 1”, so it gets deep, at 1” it will push water and hopefully the Air8 6-8” deep in the soil. Best way to do it all at once, Water it 15 min move to the next station, 15 min and next station ... etc until you get to the first station and cycle it again until you get that one inch down... If that is too much, do your self the favor and get 1/8” of water down, that will push it into the soil and like 1-2” deep.. then the more moisture it gets over time.. the deeper it goes... I’d spike it with 3 oz per 1000 sqft of RGS to drive the roots down with that Air8 👍🏻
Thanks for the quick reply! I like you suggestion of 15 minute cycles, however, I only have an old school irrigation system (portable sprinklers.) I decided to water approx 1/8 - 1/4" and will follow up with the same amount every other day this week- that should keep any runoff to a minimum. Also planning on several rounds of RGS before the season shuts down- any suggestions on the minimum interval between RGS (and Air8) applications? Thanks for putting together this channel- I enjoy watching your progress and your dad humor. ~S
+SUBDIVIDED first off my daughter can never see this thread... she always tells me my dad humor sucks.... glad to be appreciated 😁 Max effect, I’d go every two weeks. 3oz RGS and 6 oz Air8. When temps climb below 80 I’d go 6 oz RGS and 9 oz Air8. Wake that bad boy up, and it will spoon feeing it that often! Slow and steady wins this race... you got nothing but time, cause it stops for no one... was that a dad joke..... 🙄
Very Timely Video J! You lawn is looking wicked good! I still have seed heads, but those are going away as I am mowing them off. I haven't watered yet here in Davis County. I am guessing we will need to water in 10 days as the weather pattern finally looks like it will bring springtime warmth at the later part this week. I am going to do the same application you just did. First time using Air 8 for me. Still mowing at 2 1/4 inches which is super short for me. Hope to be able to keep it at that height for the summer, we shall see how the lawn behaves! Have a most enjoyable memorial day. God bless our Military for preserving our freedom in this great country!
LOL He said 6 to 8 inches of penetration! LMAOF! Lots of penetration going on there Jeremy! I used the same combo as well works great, will do one more end of June and one at over seed time in the Fall! Great Vid! Chad Upstate NY
Chad Fleming ... you know how I do here at the TGL.... all about deep penetration.... what it’s all about! I like this hit in the summer around July at 9oz of Air8 and 3oz of RGS... it helps with the stress of the lawn... ❤️
I’m planning on following Jeremy around the mall later. With that giant hole in his back pocket his wallet is sure to fall out at any moment. Free Salad!!!
Left Tool you like the only clean lawn pants I had left?!? Those are amazing, right?? Don’t hate on the lawn style!! Lol ....OR... stay with me here.... Hotdogs... 🤗
