Hi Ramon, I admire your talent and brave curiousity to tackle this unusual instrument. I acquired one several years ago, and I am working with a luthier to convert it by adding tuners and a pickup. Will you share with me the string gauges of the 5 strings? I am trying to sort this out with charango, timple and classical guitar nylon strings.
@@josephloducacomposer I think pretty much the strings are all the same gauge but the tension dictates the notes but if you were.yk use solid nylon or metal then obviously you would change the gauges but strings which are made of spliced together fishing line are pretty much the same gauge maybe the bass string has more strings intertwined
I play clawhammer banjo and sometimes get a little frustrated that it doesn't lend itself to 3/4 or 3/8 time very well. What you're doing is very interesting - I must find out more and see if it can be adapted to the banjo.
Hi Ramon, i bought your book and that help me a lot. But i didn't find answer for that what is frequency range for ngoni. Example, how many hertz are lower G and C string or highest A (or Bb)?
