I’m from Philly. One of the only cities with “homegrown” generational gangs/squads/factions. We take pride in pushing our own lines and programs. There are a few sets of national gangs but not like other cities. We fuck wit Cali and Chicago cuz just like us, their gangs are homegrown. I’m 3rd generation 16 Hunnit Gang Somerville Gangster. Another good one bro.. My pops is from Santana and he always tells stories about back when all the Compton Crip neighborhoods got along.. Any given day you would catch crips from different hoods hanging together on certain streets. Some of his closest homies are from SSCC... Now these two neighborhoods killing each other smh. Everything used to be all good until he got out the pen one time In the late 80’s and went to kick it in SSCC hood and some dudes who didn’t know him, but knew where he was from tried to trip on him.. My dad homies from SS ended up beating their own homie up for that..
