I have to give mad props to the creator, Liam Vickers. He did an excellent Job bringing this world to life and creating these amazing, mostly deranged characters.

*N is indeed a cinnamon roll!!* Why does Michael Kovach always play the best character in whatever show he's in?!?!!

Fun fact: the drinking of oil and other small nods heavily imply the Disassembly Drones are almost like Vampire Drones. They drink the blood of drones to keep from overheating, the sun rapidly overheats them, they sprout wings and can fly, have regenerative powers, and seem to have a weakness for literal doors. In old myths, a vampire can't enter your home unless you invite it in, which Uzi kinda indirectly did. Also, I think you missed it, but her eyes flashing yellow implies that Uzi is slowly becoming more like them, at least in terms of her coding. Murder is now her top priority, and humans are on the menu.

N is my comfort murderer Also in some concept art from Liam Vickers released around the time of the pilot, it was shown that the drone's hair are just taken off of the dead humans so that they can look cool, it's not like the humans were using the hair anymore anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Interesting lore: The yellow spheres on the Disassembly Drone's head (that looks like a headband) are actually their real eyes. With each seeing different type of light. The middle one is visible light, next to it to the left is Infrared and the most left is ultraviolet and the right ones are quote "Whatever the plot requires LoL." The "Eyes" on the face-screens are just there to show emotions.

Just the fact that N straight up said thank you to when J called him useless and terrible is truly sad. You deserve much better N!

I think the “put your mother out of her misery” thing is supposed to imply he bashed her head in with the wrench. Admittedly that’s super dark but also about the right tone for this series

Never thought I would see the day Morgan and Elijah react to something by glitch productions.

YES. YES. You’re the first person I’ve watched who’s seen right through the humor they pile around N being blatantly abused. They hid it by showing it through his perspective, and he copes with humor, but people don’t tend to connect the dots even in the scene where they tear the illusion away (which happens to be the first scene where Uzi is present: it’s her perspective we’re seeing it from). The fact that N THANKS J for literally killing him, bc hey, she knows best! And Uzi clearly sees it based on how she reacts when he stands up for himself, despite having just called out his switching sides “lame”; she recognized it was an important step for him and was supportive. Which just… aaAAAA 😖💖 And that’s without mentioning how it carries over into later episodes. You can literally watch his recovery in some areas and where plot events make things worse and it doesn’t get resolved (or hasn’t yet). I could’ve- and have, several times- written an essay abt this but I’ll stop now 😅

I'm so happy you vibe so well with the characters. N is a precious boi and we must protect him lol. I also found uzi disturbingly relatable too 😂. Pay extra close attention to the text and anything else that pops up in the background. It takes a few watches to find all the Easter eggs. But Liam likes to hide a CRAZY amount of lore and funny shit.

N is my favorite by far. He's too cute, and kind of sad at the same time! I love home

Woo! I’m so glad to see more people reacting to this! One thing I will say, rewatching and pausing frequently are basically a necessity to understand what is going on. There are words displayed on screen that will come back and explain things that happen in later episodes.

The episodes after the pilot each use a different horror movie trope like episode 2 is alien. Episode 3 is a high school prom themed horror movie. Episode 4 is like Friday the 13th or slasher. But I can also tell there's more tropes in episode 4 than just Jason. Like werewolf/vampire.

Hello, I am well versed in Murder Drones lore. I was there waiting for the pilot ever since it was announced. Anyway, I've got some fun facts regarding the pilot. First, the planet that all this takes place on is Copper-9. I think it has yet to be directly stated, but that's the planets name. The theme that plays during N and Uzi's first encounter is called "Goth Girl Anime Lover VS Wholesome Killer Boy." Pretty much the entire soundtrack has funny names for the songs, and they're all bops. Especially the teaser theme made by Liam Vickers himself called "Disassembly Required." The worker drones don't wear wigs. It's real hair that they... "borrowed" from the humans. It's still not known where the Disassembly Drones hair came from. Now, in regards to some of the characters. V is my favorite. The fact that the first line introducing her is "Please don't feed me my own entrails in front of my family!", followed by her not feeling anything after the encounter made me immediately love her craziness. As for Khan... All I'll say is he has his reasons for liking doors so much. And just based on this first episode, he made the right call, not firing at the drone that was holding his daughter a couple of feet away from him given that guns power. He also decided to save the entire colony rather than risk the lives of hundreds, possibly thousands, so... I used to hate him at first, but trust me when I say he isn't completely one dimensional. I'm still curious to see where his character goes. As for N and Uzi, what is there to say that hasn't already been said? There are a couple of characters I can't talk about yet because they come in future episodes. Speaking of... I do hope you watch them soon! The story takes so many different turns that I don't think anyone expected, and it's still going. And there's this huge plot point that I am not going to talk about but was teased in three separate points during this episode. Trust me, a lot of things in the pilot only make more sense as the show goes on. It's just that the newer episodes are more confusing to figure out. Anyway... Alastor probably did write this and when Uzi yeeted J off the exoplanet, I was like "Mm, BYE FELICIA!"🤣 PS I don't know why when I first watched Lackadaisy, I didn't recognize Rocky's voice and now whenever I hear Rocky talk, I just hear N because he didn't really change his voice for those roles that's just his voice. Edit: To be fair the voice Mike does for Rocky is kinda lower than the voice he does for N.

The creator, Liam Vickers, earlier did a pilot called "Cliffside" which is also well worth the watch - though he said he basically had to cut it down to about half the length he wanted due to financial constraints. It's on RU-vid too.

The fact you’re reacting to Murder Drones makes my day! I adore this show and will hold it close to my heart because it’s the first time I got something from the live event it had. The creator was super sweet. And took the time to answer my brother’s question, even though at that time he was a little tricky to understand. So that moment meant a lot. Plus it’s so fun to price together the lore! Me and my friends have tons of theories! But I also agree with the title because it’s literally true XD N is literally that cinnamon roll. That looks adorable, but could also kill you. And I love that for him.

In an unreleased game Michael voices a puppeteer. He voices the character fantochio. He’s one of the main baddies of Billie Bust Up. If you look up the song. “I had enough of you” you can hear that he used his Angel Dust voice for him. Makes it easy to imagine Angel singing that song to Valentino.

This is my personal headcanon for how robot genetics works. Please correct any mistakes I make. In case your wondering, theoretically, newly-manufactured drones pick up mannerisms, personality traits and the like from their environment and parental figures, performing the same functions as genetics and epigenetics in animals. Simplified terms: Robot genetics are likely learned behaviours from environment they develop in and their "parents" add their own "genetics" from being within that parental environment. This explains why Uzi isn't like her dad; he canonically is more focused on his work then his daughter and therefore isn't part of the "environment" she developed off.
