Welcome back to the channel. In this video I take some rooted N'Joy pothos cuttings and plant them. I'm hoping to create one large plant one day. This is just step one in that process. So I don’t even have to take any leaves off of nodes? Just literally take a cutting on emerge in water? I ordered one online and a piece fell off so I figured I’d throw it in water but it just rotted. Ps that mirror behind you is everything. Also, I hope you get a hug soon if you haven’t already

Hi thanks for the comment. I usually leave the leafs on the node when I put it in water. keep changing out the water for fresh water once a week. It will eventually root. I've had nodes without leafs also root in water as well. :) Your piece probably rotted because it was already dead. Still no hugs but hopefully soon. Good luck with your plant hope it grows nice and big for you.

Let us know how your NJoy's are doing! I have my cutting in water and I knew most of what you shared EXCEPT pulling the roots up after planting and watering hard for several days until it's established. Wish me luck!

So far it's doing good. I made the mistake of letting it dry out a bit too much by forgetting to water it so a few of the little plants died but most are doing well. How is your plant doing?

I have a single long vine pothos, i wanna propagate, i can understand the pruned pothos wil start to root and grow but my question is what will happen to the point from where i cut, will that regrow?

Yup you got it. At the point where you cut it the plant will regrow. It will start growing a new vine from a node close to the cut spot and sometimes it will even split up and grow two new vines from a cut vine.
