I completely agree. My older sister saved me from drowning when I was 6. That was the day she became more than a sister to me. She became my hero and best friend. We’re 36 and 37 now and I still thank her often.

B-BUT.... i saved someone from drowning TWICE and no one cares, no one calls me a hero, or thanks me anymore, i didn't make the news like her and the first time I was about two or three and this other girl I was friends with who was about 1 or LESS was in the kitty pool and i screamed out "HER FACE IS IN THE WATER SHES SWIMMING WITH HER FACE IN THE WATER" cuz there was no way I could pull her out and I was excited to see her face in the water and I didn't know what drowning was but because of ME all the parents ran over and rescued her (THANKS TO ME) and the second time was a year a go at my friend's little sister's pool party and I was swimming with my best friend and my best friends little brother got upset with her(and believe me he is strong and aggressive) and they wrestle all the time and I don't usually do anything or I interfere but this time they were in the the water and she couldn't breathe so I yanked her brother of and pulled her up HER PARENTS DIDN'T EVEN DO A THING TO SAVE HER AND THEY DIDN'T THANK ME no one calls me a hero😭😐🤧😤😞😖😩😫😓😩😞😩😫😞😫😷😩😩😫😞😞😤😤😐😐😩😑😖😤😞😪😩😴😩😪😖😓😪😖😐😩😪😖👉🏻👈🏻no one makes me feel special like they make the girl from the video feel 😳 👉🏻👈🏻

Absolutely. It's scary how many young children drown or nearly drown in unsecured swimming pools. I was just thinking they also should have childproofed the doors to the house. He was only 1 and shouldn't have been able to open those big doors. Every parent should know about basic pool safety before having pools built.

Yes, agreed too. Judging by the video I think they've learned their lesson, and they have rectified their mistakes. So no point in scolding and judging them any further.

@@catherinespark Giving friendly advice isn't judging. They made mistakes anyone could make. They were very lucky it wasn't serious. It's just that every parent should know pool safety before having a pool. It's not about judgment. They are clearly wonderful, loving, caring parents.
