N SCALE WEEKEND pt.2 LONGEST PASSENGER TRAIN? AMAZING SCENERY! 

When I started modeling, 34 years ago, I chose HO scale because you could not get enough detail in N scale. Boy these guys proved me wrong. Excellent layouts at this show.

We need an N Scale convention like this in Canada.

Thanks DJ for the shout out. The Free-Mo layout was impressive and the Bay Line module is top notch, well done. My favorite railroads are branch lines, short lines and regionals. I enjoyed the N scale train show series. Thanks for sharing that to RU-vid. BTW that 1:160 is way difficult to model so my hat is off to all of you ardent N scalers who achieve such realistic model effects. It truly amazes me.

It sure looked like a great place to see what can be done in N scale.I model N scale but I'm still trying to get all my track laid.

I counted 37 including autoracks. And I thought my 11 car Metra trains were long. That 3rd locomotive has sturdy couplers for sure!

What does "Free-Mo" stand for? What happened to the prototype 1776 locomotive? Looks like something peeled off most of the paint. I counted 37 cars on that Amtrak.

I counted 37 cars and three locomotives for a total 40 pieces of rolling stock.

I run 18 on my Southwest Chief with SDP40Fs. It is too long actually for my 6X13 layout.

Do you have a link for that "N Scale Layout On A Door" channel? Did a search on RU-vid and I see a lot of other channels doing a layout that way but not that specific channel. Excellent video DJ. Keep them coming.

Wish I could have seen it in person but it was just too far to get there in time, probably would have made the last hour if there hadn't been so much construction on the way down. Should have gone over to 219 but I took the route that should have been the fastest by over an hour.

When I started in HO 52 years ago this level of detail was not available in N scale. Good show but HO is small enough for me. I remember when Z scale came out in 1972, that is crazy small.
