On October 6, 2019, a miserable day, Lerro Productions and the Strasburg Rail Road hosted a slew of events for the first weekend of October, with a bunch of runbys planned and special photo ops, please enjoy, N&W Superpower on the SRC.
What is the name of the cemetery in this video? I’ve never been to PA but have recently discovered several generations of ancestors and a host of relatives in and around Schuylkill County. Thanks for sharing this video. It has become a favorite of my toddler grandson and mine. Even though he has seen it a dozen or more times, he still likes to anticipate the train popping out from behind buildings and trees and the tractor coming up from the side.
The cemetery is called Carpenters Graveyard, as it sits at Carpenters Crossing, on Black Horse Road, but officially I believe it’s also called the Ferree Graveyard, as the first burial was Marie Ferree in 1716. It’s one of the oldest cemeteries in the area. And the last bit means so much, it means so much to hear people enjoy my videos.
