Norfolk and Western 4-8-4 #611 kicked off the 2016 season with 2 round-trip excursions from the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer. On Saturday April 9th, 611 traveled north to Lynchburg, VA over the former Southern Washington DC to Atlanta mainline. Then on Sunday the 10th she headed west to Asheville, NC traversing the famous Southern Loops near Old Fort. This video features a sampling of clips from both days.
