New, vastly improved world record here: • N++ X-row speedrun in ...
Had some really bad moments dying multiple times on a single level, but mostly a great run. Commentated (in a hurry, sorry if I forgot to explain something) for the purpose of AGDQ submission.
I seem to have forgotten to cut the rest of my stream off the end of the video. Feel free to leave after the commentary ends ;P

Milton Smith yup beat all the columns and got all colors, took a pic on my flip phone at the time and than my laptop overheated n melted hence to all the hours spent in my room during he summer and as time went on lost the flip phone...

I’m so glad this game came out on Switch. I played N+ so much on Xbox 360 back when it came out. Love this game and it’s so underrated.

Even though I have around 200 hours in the game, it is still interesting to listen to you explain it again. Your simple explanations really show how well you understand the game. I really enjoyed this run, thanks!

I hate that this game doesn't have a larger following because the "races" are SO fun to watch competitively! Particularly because there are many clever ways that you can outsmart or "screw over" your opponents with use of enemies, and I also like that they are based on scores rather than time, so getting gold is risky but carries potential for a high reward if you manage to complete the level. Great video! By the way, what's AGDQ?

I was really into the flash game in 2004. Basically I had a job that required me to sit around for hours staring at a computer, just waiting. I played a lot of the N flash game and beat it a few times lol.

I remember this being one of my favorite flash games. Which there was more attention to the n series, it’s such a “pure” game. From the simple but solid controls and physics used to their full potential, to the minimal, but still pleasant art design that does away with extraneous details. Whenever I have a few minutes and don’t want to do anything I still go to n ninja.com and play the original flash game.

Before I over-analyse your joke - I realize that I am doing that and I do get it, but... In order to even unlock these expert levels, you have to beat ALL of the other levels and there's some stuff there that's WAY more difficult than these jumps.

i came back to this game after 7 years (first i was playing N-Game but since adoble flasg doesnt work you cant play it) so i bought this game from steam and now my goal is to beat all levels and as much lvls on all coins as possible (go fish is pain for coins) Also i subbed cuz even know i know all opponents and mechanics of this game its still best game of childhood i could ever play. The simplicity of this game, opponents and few mechanics and some structures that may make lvl very easy or imposibble to beat makes this game awesome with this movement mechanic :)) Im currenlty at N++ section on D14 episode.

oh god i remember the level "ai ant colony" 13:56 i spend a long time trying to beat this level casually and i felt like im tripping out from staring at the moving screen for so long

Know exactly what you mean about the tripping out feeling, I was trying to beat it today and experiencing the same thing, was getting really disoriented like I was watching a replay instead of playing myself, was weird...

I preferred N+ to N++. Prefered the music, the way enemies looked, the (relatively) lower repetition (N++ uses the same idea 8000 times) and the level editor was MILES better. So easy and intuitive to use, whereas the one in N++ is a confusing, irritating mess.

This video would be way better if the game sound was in the backgorund, because sometimes there are really long breaks in your commentary, and the sound is awesome in this game, and it's just really quiet and boring otherwise.

This game looks both harder and easier than the original. It looks like the movement is a little faster/freer and not as unforgiving and slow. Edit: Nvm, this looks pretty hard and the momentum movement is still pretty unforgiving.

not sure if you mentioned it, but older N games had you die if you had too much momentum when hitting the ground i don't know if they still have it in this game though

Does he have a youtube or videos of his runs? This game is highly technical and precise and I'm a sucker for such things, I would love to see him run 100% all the levels. I am currently on level X-06, I have MANY levels passed 100% (boy, that took me SOOOO many tries, but one thing I love about this game is that you can play it with your favorite music playing in the background and it won't "get in the way" of your game because you don't necessarily need to listen) and I intend on finishing all of the expert levels - I am hunting the Platinum trophy for PS4 (where I have this game) and beating all expert levels is one of the criteria.

There are now two people with 100% the entire game but neither of them do RU-vid. Xela has a few on his channel, but as far as I know mine is by far the biggest collection of end-game challenge videos.
