Masterpice... You have any opinion on N43b20 engine? Is it brittle, and unreliable?

Sounds good and even better it pulls good. I'm old school American V8. Then we got the wife an Alpha. Now I'm trying to figure everything out. The plan is to get it as close to 400hp as I can while keeping it a daily. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated. I tried to get her the M3 but she loves that Alpha.

@cmreav HaHa, yes, you caught me. I also own an E46/E90 M3. The E46 is where my heart has been since 2008. Also owned a 335i with piggyback and bolt-ons/meth. That's when I learned FI is a band-aid that's not for me. I'm a car and motorcycle guy so plz don't flame me about EVs.😂

It was the headlights, bonnet and wings that I didn’t like but I’ve only just realised that a decent body kit changes EVERYTHING

Fr. Always preferred the sound of an inline 6 over most engines (v8s are the exception lol). The turbo noise paired with the deep high revving sound of a straight 6 is heaven

Don’t worry, just find a n55 or a b58. In 3-4 years everyone will want an n55. Then 3-4 years after that, everyone will be lusting over b58. It’s just the cycle of prices of used models becoming more affordable after about 3 years while staying close to the current gen’s engine power. It happens with every model.
