N9: Attaching Mesh and Animation in Niagara Effect | UE5 Niagara System For Beginners | AIP
Hello! Welcome once again! In this video series, we will see what Niagara is and how to use the Niagara system for creating excellent VFX.
In the earlier videos in this series, we have seen the making of a Niagara Emitter where the spawning particle follows a certain path created in spline.into the world. In this video, you will learn how to attach the Niagara emitters onto mesh, Skeletal mesh and an animated skeletal mesh.,

Thank You very very much! I was working on powerfield FX. Created an emitter that spawns a large sphere-shaped particle that surrounds a character, but when character moves, the particle remains in place. This guide helped me to "attach" particle to character.

Thank you. Might use this tecnique for my Spirits in this game. Gonna make demons also which will be Black smoke Whirlwinds which move on rotation and goes into characters mouths and possess them

Thanks, cool. But how can I trigger this effect on my Playercharacter? So the particles match whatever animation is happening in game? I want to transform him (his skin-look) on an Event. E.g. a Pickup an item [the Blueprint says to]: > then it Cast to or Get Player Controller > I want to apply this particle effect to him for 5 seconds. So do I "Cast" this emitter system to the Player? or use "Get Player Controller"?

in case this is still relevant, I believe it's 'Static Mesh Location'

Actually, I want to use Niagara particle to create concert audience torch light effect, what's the correct way to do it? can you give me advice?

Yes, I think. Increasing lifetime should help snd some flares with 4_8sec lifetime, coming out if flame should give nice effect

Apologies, for delayed the response. Niagara is attached to a static mesh. I think you can have a planer hidden on floor, and emit from there.

One question. How would you animate the effect turning on and off in Sequencer? Visibility doesn't have keyframing, does it?

There is no turning off and on its more on lifetime,
