@@s8vu 2521 could have been the best lgbt drama abt a girl finding out abt her mother's secret past relationship with a girl, the one who was nationally known as her fencing rival. It could have been epic.
I see it's so typical for it to always revolve around romance, why do they have to end up in a relationship yet not a refreshing beautiful friendship!! Their friendship is so rare and I can't be happier they ended that way 💛
Even if Hee Do got really great chemistry with the guy, She and Yurim were written as girlfriends and soulmates, it was so beautiful yet wasted potencial :(
Though Na Heedo and Ko Yurim would have made a great couple, this is one case where I'm kind of glad they didn't go there because the best thing about this series was its depiction of female friendship. It also worked well as a very good sports story. Those aspects far overshadowed any of the traditional male-female romantic story-lines. It's what helped set this apart from most k-dramas. Of course much credit to the superb acting by Kim Taeri.
@@realistnightshade6300 I have no problems with friendships evolving into a romantic relationship or with two girls falling in love. In fact, Sol and Jiwan from Nevertheless remain one of my favorite couples from any recent k-drama. But in this particular case I think what they were trying to say about growing in and out of friendships as people move into adulthood worked better without adding romance to the equation.
This is one of the things I love about this film. It never mistook their relationship as anything more than friendship, yet it was all so intimate. Just like how real best friends do. I really adore their friendship. It was all I ever ask for back then. A best friend. Just one was enough, but I guess I was never meant to have one, so here I am, looking fondly at these little angels.

Aunque pocas, he conocido amistades que incluso si su pareja en boda les dijera que debían dejar esa amistad porque se veía "rara" o molesta porque parecían 3 en una relación, han llegado a cancelar la boda si no lo aceptaban así...
