It's possible to put the engine + transmission in together. Removing the CAS and the coil pack gives you a bit more space.

You’re 100% correct, it is easier to do the engine and transmission separately. I did my engine and tranny separate too, I suppose it would’ve been hard that way if the transmission weighed more than 75 pounds but I’m not a big puss wad either.

It was a pain to put the tranny and motor in at the same time but it was worth it

How much the cost for the engine

I gave up after 15 minutes and just bench pressed the transmission in from under the car.
