and it also causes the lanes to push, because the ranged creep also get the buff, therefore the carry on you safe lane will find it like hell to lane control. That is the main reason it is hard to find her in pro games, and plus after her ult's nerf, she is not worth it, since her ulti could deactivate at any time, which is the reason she can even make a difference early/mid game
Altough prelims where just to select the ones that went to winner's and loser's bracket so, basically even thou lgd got a 14-0 score, they just won the same prize as Na'Vi, but with way more effort, now is when things start to get spicy.
It's not about result only and Na'Vi is not loved because of wins only. Its about the swag. Its not all about winning, style counts too. As I said thet are fucking rockstars, when they win a big game everything is going crazy its never boring. That is why they are so far ahead of everyone.
Holy shit? Winning TI2 sure was something big, and IG is surely the strongest team cause their players are all individually good, but Navi gameplay is the best and epic cause the teamwork is just awesome, admit it.
her precision aura makes her an ungodly farmer. And positioning in fights can mean that you still get the bonus. What makes her less powerful, her really low Strength gain makes her weak to nukes. She can be burst down faster than she can apply her steady damage.
Hey, Asian team fans, can we at least all agree that Na'Vi is the best to watch? They do surprise picks and crazy strategies. Yes, iG won the tournament therefore Na'Vi is not the best right now, but they have always been and will be most fun to watch, despite not being the best.
well said. also i feel in dota it's better to have navi's play style which can be obscure and unpredictable, whereas you know exactly what chinese teams are planning
WHICH tournament was the Navi vs SK game played at? I am sure i have seen it but wouldnt mind watching it again and I cant remember which tourney it is.
I'm still trying to figure out what was up with their picks in the Grand Final. Naga and DK were LGD's thing, I'm not sure why Na'Vi tried playing with a strategy they had already beaten (and that everyone else had spent the tournament figuring out how to handle).
@eugene329329 There are multiple teams in this video, but the resolution is good enough to read the player tags and they have teamname in tag most of the time.
Na'Vi is probably the best eSports Dota team. Being more fun does make you the better eSport team (as long as you're very skillful too). eSports is a sport to be watched by people, and you're going to have to be entertaining to stand out. Plain tactics are far less entertaining and way less people would actually watch. Na'Vi is extremely popular for this reason with their surprise picks. They are probably not the best Dota team, but they are the best Dota eSport scene team.
The only thing that i questioned is why did Na'vi have no advantage from being in the winner bracket? It is a double elimination style tournament which means that's what happens. It should have started out as 1-0 in the grand final. Na'vi vs LGD was more of a grand final to me anyways. It was exciting as hell!
i didnot like navi at the start and was pretty dissapointed when they defeated ehome at TI1 but they still are one of the best teams that can stage a comeback and i like them for that
Nah dude it's being used, just graphical glitch with the replay program they used to edit this, it's why they used the Chrono icon hovering over some people in some of the teamfight scenes to show who's stuck in the Chrono. :)
