I was listening to this master piece with closed eyes and multiple times it gave me feeling as if I was listening to Pandit Nikhil Banerjee. Who says he is no more with us ? He is still and in more refined way in form of this young remarkable sitar maestro. And special thnks should also be given to Pandit Kumar Bose Ji for his matured and measured accompaniment which has enhanced the taste of this sitar rendition without over powered it. And last but not the least, kudos to the sound engineer for this heaven like recording ❤

Wonderful music!! Coming from South India, I had thought sitar is more craft than art (too many strings, movable frets compared to the Veena), but the music is sublime!!! Also, this Pantuvarali for us...with some subtleties. And great tabla too!!
