Finally the man tells his mother the truth that it is he who is jobless,and all the tension between them goes away as the exhaust fan is shown moving(just like hot air goes away through an exhaust fan).

I was here for recipe of nariyal k ladoo but ended up watching this short film😂❤️

This is my story, and we have not told our parents yet. I have not got a permanent job for last four years. My wife earns and and I manage household work. We dont have a maid or cook. Our parents visit us and stay for one or two months. Those are very tough days because we lie to our parents looking right into their eyes. My wife thinks parents are so conservative, especially hers, that they will not be able to digest the truth. I dont know our ending yet. But I will surely post on this video once we untangle everything. Thanks for the video, I will cry the whole night without my wife realizing.

Seemaji is a very versatile actress. Thoroughly enjoyed this short story.

The end justifies who truly deserves nariyal ke laddu more than the son for whom the mother gets them so lovingly. Good movie on breaking gender stereotypes.

Good to see this, justified the jobless frustrated husband, and is always the positive wife. and the mother is well narrated. hats off the script and directors.

The ending is not abrupt. The function of an exhaust fan is to clear the air and prevent suffocation. Since the guy told his mother the truth, the exhaust fan also worked at the same time thus, signifying that the suffocation due to their lie is not a burden for them anymore.

They just reversed roles of husband wife. Here husband creates drama, wife is acceting happy n does everything on her own. Husband barely does anything. Even kitchen work she is doing. Pavam. Real life.

I like when everything on screen is shown with real problems and incidents daily faced by comman people.

I think the message goes like this. The story started with the problem of the exhaust fan. Accordingly, the main problem of the couple was not the joblessness, but the lies that they made to their parents. As soon as he spoke the truth, the burden vanished, that became symbolic in the re-functioning of the exhaust fan.

A women knows a women well....when boy's mom says "mein 2-3 din ke liye hi toh aayi thi jhoot hi bol deta" prooves that wife was right from the very begining!!!!!

The message is delivered without showing what's the obvious. Excellent performances by Akhil, Cherry and Seema. Congrats & thanks, Vivek Soni

The message is that as they kept thinking that the fan was faulty but actually the wire was faulty. Same was the case in their lives, they were thinking that the problem is man's joblesness but actually the problem was that they hide the truth from their parents.

Well, all acted good. It could be good if a story could be bit extended where Mom finally accept the role reversal realizing the 'need of time'. Indian society is Patriarchal and specially when males are taught that females should only do household stuffs, it's natural to not accept changes otherwise.

'Exhaust Fan abtak teek nahi hua hai'.... husband seems humbly (you understand the frustration) reply shaam Tak teek karudoonga.. immediately changes the topic. yes I too was jobless after corona. I understand the situation of this character. However, nothing is permanent even joblessness. Things do change. Cooperative and collaborative better half would make a biggg difference in life at times of trying situations.

In time, the mother will come to terms with it. I think it's good that the son himself told his mother the truth. If she'd come to know the truth from someone else(including the wife), it'd have been very hurtful for the mother. And after all, it's not like the son is not trying to land a job. If he has any qualifications at all, sooner or later he'll be able to find a job that he's good at.

Why is it that our society could not accept a guy taking care of home and girl working?

Now a days the rate of employment is so high, people scared to enter into marriage.

Exhaust fan movie meaning is that don't show ur difficulties in front of people just throw it n never let go whts going inside..

Mtlb ye ki even though we are breaking stereotypes with wives working and husbands staying at home doing the household work, we haven't broken it successfully because we are ashamed of admitting it, and if it is so, then what goes unnoticed is the fact that at the end even both husband and wife are of the opinion that if he had a job, he shouldn't do all this work. I don't think it is the correct or complete interpretation, there is something that I am still missing!!
