GREETINGS TO, Ms.Mrinalini Sivakumar ; GREETINGS TO, Ms.Bhairavi Venkatesan;. GREETINGS TO, Ms.Kameshweri Ganesan ; GREETINGS TO, Ms.Sanjena Ramesh ; GREETINGS TO, Ms.Rajadarshini Saravanan for such an impeccable and flawless "Sudhdha Abhinayam. You are all Glowing with the Love on Bharadham and the Euphoria to present it on this "Konark Dance Festival Open Theatre Stage!" Your Coordination and the seamlessly accurate adherence to the "Jathis" and "Thaalam" of this Naattakkurinji Varnam. Everyone seeing this Lovely presentation is awed by your very crisp "Muga Bhaavam", "Nayana Bhaavam", "Abhinayam" and unified merger with the flow of "Swaram" and "Thaalam!" Very Great Bharadham, "NatchaththirangalE!" Special Greetings to the dress match that goes along with the song and greatly enhances the depth of the "Natanam". Very Great Congratulations and Thanks to , Ms.Dr. Sheela Unnikrishnan , for Your tremendous efforts in instilling the "Bhaavam" and "Rasam" of the "Varnam" into your "Natchaththirangall", so that they bring about the root essence of this "Guru Paapanaasam Sivan"s fusion thru the "Saranaagathi" with the "Swaami". I mention this especially because, as far as I know, similar to a "Thillaanaa", the "Varnam" by a group of talented "Narthagigall" depicts the amount of "Saadhagam" the Guru drilled thru into her "Sishya Kodigall". Congratulations! Convey my Greetings to your soothing "Pakka Vaadhyak Kuzhu" for their fitting and soft accompaniment, to, Sri Srikanth Gopalakrishnan for his "Kuralisai", Dr. Guru Bharadwaaj for his "Mirudhangam", Sri Muthukumar for his soft "Kuzhalisai" and Ms.Kumari Anjani Srinivas for fitting "Veenai" This is what we call "Pari Pooranap Panchjaamirdham" of Bharadham!" I enjoyed savoring most of the presentations on this year's "Kornark Dance Festival" and still going thru the performances. Five days with fifteen hours of feast to the "Paarampariya Isai Rasigar Keettam". In fact I waited until you publish the Sree Dhevi Nirudhyaalanam's "Natchaththira Natanam" by this effervescent Constellation of Stars! Among all forms of "Naattiyam" presented in the festival, I place our Bharadham at the Summit! No bias due to home soil mentality; but over the years, I have seen that true "Natanam" is that which fuses every "Angam" of human body and mind with the "Prapancham" and "Prapancha Naadham" and that which dwells in the Spiritual Structure of Human being; Not the Physical Structure. As depicted by most of the other traditional dance forms of our country. Easy flow of communication between the "Rasigar" and the "Narththagi" is all possible only in Bharadham. I am very proud that Bharadhm is centre-staged by our beloved "Sree Dhevi Nirudhyaalayam" this year!! Hearty Thanks to all of you!
Where do all this magic come from? From the music? From the the pretty dancers? From their technique? From the sounds of this language? From the movements and mudras? The magic comes from India.
🙏🙏🙏 When Sri. Srikanth dwells on "Swami" and sustains the last swara, I expected Lord Nataraja to appear just as He did for Markhandeya! SDN has got a wonderful group of musicians who take the dance performances to the highest level. (Nadha + Natya) Upasana leads to visualization of God
I have no words to say about this performance... Mam great choreography... And they prove that again all are very powerful dancers... kameswari..rajadharshini..bairavi...sanjana..mrinalini.. excellent perfomance..
Wow! A superb performance by the Panch Rathnas of the SDN family! What a memory power! Each one knows her lot ( her portion) and her slot ( her position). No one showed any sign of tiredness, fatigue, hunger or thirst. Kumari. HariNi has undergone a major transformation ery recently and is almost unrecognizable. Kumari. Bhairavi steals the show ( as usual of course). Kumari. Sanjana can sit like a statue for such a long time, without any movement! Kumari. Kameshwari is playing a double role by joining with both the groups whenever it needs an extra dancer. Kumari. RAjadhashiNi looks so very bright and beautiful these days. The varNam is in Tamil. But the choreography has transcended all language barriers. The story of mArkhandEya is very well depicted. The combination of adavus, the change in the directions, the geometrical pattern formations are all mind blowing. I just learned a secret - very late though. I used to compose my own jathik-korvai with great difficulty - since I did not want to repeat the same line many times. But now I find that it is not the words that matter but the actions which go with those words. So you are proving that there is no limit for perfection and evolution. May YOU be recognized as the best team of dancers in the whole wide world! Be Blessed always!
Well said! 🙏🙏🙏 SDN choreography never ceases to amaze us with varied depictions of the same lines of the sahityam repeated many times. We are now spoiled by SDN's creativity :-) When some other (non SDN) group repeats lines without changing depictions, we notice it and don't like it as much. SDN has educated Rasikas as well and not just their dancers. PS: You mean Mrinalini. Harinie didn't make the trip to Konark and was in isolation for two weeks due to cough/cold.
@@rsr7241 - Hi, i ve a question which doesn't relate to this amazing indian dance. Konark temple in INDIA is amazing but the question is, Karnak temple in EGYPT displays so much similarities to the INDIAN temple of Konark in terms of the name itself but also the processions, giving, lotus flowers, etc. Would there be a relationship of some sort in ancient times between ancient India and ancient Africa.
Every time I think I will give up Natyam, youtube pops another video from Sridevi Nrithyalaya and I am spired all over again. It takes lot of effort, practice to creatively choreograph a Davis and patterns, kudos to Sheila Unni ma’am for so many interesting surprises. The hard work of the dancers show in their effortless presentations. And hats off to shobha ji for the uniform and unique costume / looks/ make up each and every time. Humble 🙏🏻
No words to describe how out of the world choreography it was. Such formations and swift, neat, and beautiful changes of dancers' spots, which no one could have imagined to be possible to execute.. but amazing to see these divine visuals.. and all these talented dancers.. I haven't seen more effortless dancers than these talented sdn dancers.. thank you for this ♥️
Oh my God! Mind boggling performance! The way they seamlessly split and regroup, perform with unison and perfection, what can we say? Blessed to have watched this. Keep enthralling us 🙏
A full "régal", coordination, precise like a Swiss watch! Each one knows her slot, lot, and Natuvanar ordonnance in composition!! Thanks to You Tube and smt Nrytialaya!!!
I am strolling in the precincts of the Hoysaleswara Temple, Halebeedu. Dusk falls. Magically the grey stone Shilavpaalikas catch the hues of the setting sun, step out from their niches, and begin to dance!
Very very good performance, nice coordination, expressions and neat poses , all the 5 was very energetic especially kameshwari was perfect in everything love you for the choreography and idea very very nice ,take care of your health and countinue your aim towards natyam moksha saadhanam, i really apricate the costume because it is suitable for the stage and the perfomers you ate best in everything any day any place SDN is the best love you SDN sure you are the best there is no doubts in it every one in sdn is creating new learners and dancers from your videos thank you mam 😊😊😊😊
This is so endlessly beautiful to watch that my eyes almost hurt! 😍😭 The perfect geometry of the tala and the figures on stage...my god wooffhhh! 🙏 The girls are just amazing (as usual) they dance like they are experiencing only joy (and ignoring completely the hard movements and the fatigue hehe), but my congratulations are for Sheela Ma'am, because you need a genius like her to conceive such an exquisite masterpiece on one of the most famous Varnam, that has been already choreographed in so many ways. I truly feel "visited by god" (in the most extensive and non-religious sense) watching this performance! Thank you for sharing your art with us! PS: Bhairavi's beauty in dance pierces the screen 👏👏👏
SDN videographer did a far better job than Doordarshan! I am sure Dr. Smt, Sheela trained the videographer as well. Total bliss! 🙏🙏🙏💖💖💖 Starting at time 14:50 Sri. Srikanth's voice goes to next level and the dancers's fluidity is just amazing. Beautiful choreography and excellent execution. SDN dancers are the best in the world 💖💖💖
Girls your are excellent bcs the aramandi , stiffness of your body , muthras are v.v.v.good and song selction was also good bcs the first jathi stared first speed and second speed and third speed and formation was gorgeous and😗😗 I love performance and u will think that I am classical dance teacher no that's wrong I am classical dancer and I am 7 std ☺☺
This is a feast to eyes. So happy to watch this. Great coordination and team efforts. Each and everyone performed excellently. But my eyes were as usual more struct at Sanjena 😊 All the best wishes for upcoming events. With lots of love from Trivandrum. 👍
Ma'am I wanted to ask you that why this Varnam was shortened ? Like after 13:10, the anupallavi isn't explained by the dancers in detail. (Though it is beautiful regardless )
