I must say I am from America and did not know about this movie before the Golden Globe, but now I'm so glad that it got the award. Many Americans said that they never heard of the song and that it didn't deserve the award, but in my opinion it was easily the best out of everything nominated. But what's more is that I was tired of the songs always being from American artists and showing the American culture and perspective, I wanted to see the beliefs and experiences of other cultures as it was an international awards ceremony. I wish they didn't replace the telugu with the hindi on Spotify EDIT: no, the "Telugu Version" on spotify is not actually in telugu, it is in hindi still. The telugu version has been wiped from spotify. I have looked. Believe me, i have LOOKED HARD.
