it's not based on true story . it's a fictional story based on True person they never meet in real life writer make them meet and what happen after they meet this is the story.
It's mad to me that you get the vibe tbh, Indian and Indian culture can be wild and raw lots of pressure to conform to western culture. These sorts of songs are often called mass-type songs, it's like the equivalent of country music for country people, they also speak and sing in a slangy way. Kicking up dirt, and up tempo.
You can't just jump into the dance scene like this! LOL.. the buildup prior to the danceoff is half the enjoyment. I'm glad you guys liked it, but I REALLY hope you finally watched it from start to finish!

this movie deserves to be watched in a theater full of indians. the energy of the movie goes 100X folds with such an audience. This movie created euphoria in each show. People were shouting, clapping, cheering. Some young audience even cried because they got so much overwhelmed. This was THE BEST theater experience of 2022, and this I am saying AFTER watching The Batman.

no there are tales of these freedom fighters but rrr is not related to that. They never met before in history. But in RRR director is showing a fictional tale as what happens if they both met in real life, because they both vanish in the history for five years at their young age and came back to their respective villages and fought for the country. That gap of five years is unknown, so a fictional tale is being shown in that five years of what changed in their lives that they became freedom fighters.
