I thought for sure I'd hate the easy rig, but I'm impressed with it. Still not a ideal solution, but seems great for fatigue/injury prevention. Well done!
I can't say the Boom Rig will be used on movie film sets where shots get complicated, adjustability and freedom of movement is vital. Depressing the pole between sets ups needs to be efficient, and not needing to constantly de-rig it from this device. However, for doco's or corporate shoots where the mic isn't always being as precisely placed, and the "what's heard is heard" methods apply, then sure, this could help, especially if your Lav's are secure. 3-4 inches above the hairline for film, but often 18 inches+ in doco work is common/enough
Granted, you a Pro-Audio Channel. But you will be forgiven for using a Rode Wireless or DJI Mic. It would be so much simpler. Ditch that handheld mic....Maybe use it as a backup. We wouldn't mind the noise from the omni capsules on the rode or DJI.
