@10:26 - That was pretty much everyone's reaction to the Nerd showing off the Booster when watching his video. Personally though, when I was growing up in the 90s, I only remember seeing the link cables, the camera, the printer and the external light attachments. I never saw any of the other accessories. But at the same time, we need to take into account that many of these accessories were Japan-exclusive only.
The AVGN is one of my favorite content creators back then and kinda still is to this day. Glad to see your characters reacting to them. Also Evelyn running out was a first for the series.
4:17 bro that link cable is one of the many reasons that made games like pokèmon so popular, maybe not the arcadic red and blue, but there was so many things you could do in silver and gold edition because of how many things you can do in gold and silver that you can't do in red and blue
4:56 ah yes, the infamous game genie, an add that was another precursor to add-ons like the GameShark which had cheat codes for your n64 games, and later the DS action replay, which had presets of codes that emulate the DS games you're playing.
the gameboy printer could print the images in your mario deluxe (gbc) gallery. Can you have em react to older videos, when Nerd had no control over his anger?
Interesting Reaction there :o i didn't know all of this about Nintendo their invention was kinda weird for the time but... oh well, even weird contraptions (or inventions) can make a good profit (or not dunno xD) Anyway, nice work on this video :) i really learned something today and keep up the good content Noodle :D
The battery bit is interesting, sure it took 4 AA batteries, but it game you a life span of 30 hours of game play, and it's really the main reason why it was such a power house in the Mobile market at the time, consoles like the game gear, did have color and back-lit screen, but it ate through 6 AA batteries and only lasted 5 hours at best
I had one, but next to no games for it. It's probably still floating around somewhere, but the battery is probably shot as it hasn't been charged for over a decade, I don't have a charger for it, and I don't have the few games I had anymore.
2:50 well finding proof that a game boy survived a bomb, is spars as the only levy is Nintendo power, but Old Nintendo weren't the tipe of company to lie to your face, unlike the white lies and video shut downs their known for today
