Nah he didn’t get to be with his father. Nacho wanted out, but ending up killing himself because he realised that would never happen. Both side were playing him, the only escape was death.
He played Vaas in Far Cry 3. Every since that performance, I always get giddy when I see Michael Mando cast in something. He killed that role as Nacho.
Michael Mando is up there with Roger Clarke, Steven Ogg, Ashley Johnson, and Troy Baker for sure. Phenomenal VA and Actor. Vaas is one of the greatest villains 💯
But ironically, because Nacho put him in the wheelchair, Hector had the perfect cover for the bomb that killed Gus, and Gus let his guard down because Hector was “vulnerable” in the wheelchair.
RIGHT???? why the fuck no one talks about that, is that simple thing that makes the scene so remarkable, we never saw Nacho THAT angry, it was almost like a demon, just an outstanding ending for an excellent written character
For some reason, I thought the whole TV series that he would live to see Breaking Bad, because my brain thought that he saw him in season 1 or 2, but Google says that Nacho was not in it and for me it was a shock his suicide
He did all that to ensure Gus didn't kill his father. Mike made sure of that and just in case Mike was perched up with a sniper rifle, ready to take him out. Truly a remarkable story.
@@bubi738 now imagine for those like me that didnt know, and connected with him episode after episode. I thought he was gonna go crazy and be on sum DeadPool shit for this scene and kill everyone... Then he takes the gun to his mouth and kills himself. Like god DAMNNN 😂
The way he composed his voice to say "you twisted fuck" in the same tone, that shit was fucking TOP TIER. I absolutely desire more actors connect with the script and shit as he did.
michael mando is a god tier actor i thought i recognized him immediately, he's the dude that did that super isnane character from farcry 3, dude is a literal legend. look up the promotional videos from far cry 3 years ago if you want a blast from the past and absolute mind fck
Nacho had the option on taking out a good chunk of people out there but he then realized everyone there is still alive in Breaking Bad so he had no choice
More like he couldn’t because the odds are he’s gonna die going against them. And, after he’s dead, his father is gonna be tortured for Nacho’s actions. I wondered why he didn’t tell Bolsa and Hector that Gus forced him to do these things, but then I remembered that Gus would have hired someone to smoke his dad in case the meeting goes wrong.
@@broly1724 it’s a lonely world when someone loves you but u can’t be around them because of your other life. The more he tried to get out the more deeper he got.
yeah cuz he was way more profesional. he didnt hang out with people smoking meth while being depressed, he was more actively trying to change his life. Jesse was an addict, its not that easy then. Imo jesse nacho and mike are the most wonderful people in the series, so kindhearted
@@bobspizzeria1276 And so does every villain in the BB universe, all these people in BB are villains and the same speech could applied to them, it's not crazy to think about it. Exception being that he didn't really have any redeemable qualities.
@@bobspizzeria1276 people like hector because he helps take down the chicken man, but no one really likes him. The enemy of my enemy is my friend kinda deal
Micheal Mando portraits rage and anger like no one else. His portrait of vaas deserved an Oscar like all of his scene are the best part of the game bc mf was so captivating
I agree that Mando was superb in this role. I said in another post that all the supporting actors were unbelievable and I’m sorry that more weren’t recognized
You know nothing about acting. You are just a kid that liked an average show. This is good at best. Far from an Oscar. Also Oscars are for movies not series. Read a little before you comment something so stoopid please.
Nacho was an outstanding character and had a huge impact for the BCS. But in my opinion, in the later seasons, I think Lalo carried the show. His mastermind, the way he sought out plans, orchestrated the perfect plots. Everytime I saw him on screen, I was rooting for him to die, that's how much agony he inflicted in me as a viewer. The man who shook Gus Fring, the kingpin feared by most after Don Eladio. After all Vince and his writers are the true masterminds of this show. Bravo.
@@ph0b056 I agree with you, after Lalo stepped in, his look, his stoicism and sociopath made him a main character. When I looked at him I couldn’t predict his next move. That smiling face and acting as everything is okay, even at the end of his last moment. Great friggin actor.
If anything, I’d say this scene shows that Nacho held some respect for Gus, not the other way around. I think the only person Gus somewhat respected is Mike. Then again who knows🤷♀️ none of us are Vince Gilligan. The best part of his work is how we all come to different theories based on the multitude of perspectives Vince gives us. Man I’m so sad this series is over though I know it had to and is best in the long run 😞
I mean that is kinda how it went. The cartel, Gus and his chicken operation, Mike and his business, Saul and his business... Everyone was doing their own thing, until Walt showed up and got damn near everyone killed lmao
Everyone important except Jesse died. Vacuum Guy was for the most part a side character and Saul probably died in ADX. That prison is the absolute worst.
Mark Margolyes deserves a lot of recognition for how he portrays Hector Salamanca after his stroke. Because he's got no dialogue, all the acting is physical. And he does it so well.
I always said to people his face must have hurt like hell on the show. To have to keep scrunching his face like that through every scene, take after take. There is no way that was comfortable.
@@theonlyone38 Mike wouldn’t do that. He was mad at Gus and the rest of them for not letting Nacho live peacefully after everything he did for them. Holding his fathers life above his head.
Gus is a cruel, cowardly piece of shit who recruits children and threatens the families of his minions. Nacho couldn't care less about getting his respect.
This gives infinitely more depth to Hector everytime we see him in the wheelchair in BB and when Hector finally gets to kill Gus. Vince Gilligan is nothing short of a story telling genius
Domino effect. Tuco Jailed. Hector (in a weakened state in the wheelchair) and Gus turning against each other more and more. Lalo assassinated by Nacho. He almost got the Twins too in a turf war. Caused the downfall of an entire cartel. 😂 Nacho is dangerous lol
You really just understand it’s so many good hearted people just like him black brown all races playing they had they were delt just to survive sometimes you might be a lamb on the inside but you have to act like wolf on the outside to be able to run with the wolves and to keep ur friends family safe..!
This scene really drives in the perspective on what my acting coach said today. When you have a scene like this it’s very easy for someone green to approach it by yelling or by raising their voice. Now change that up to a conversational tone building it up to a pure malice. The delivery in this is just stunning. Can never stop watching this.
Michael Mando gives us a masterclass in acting in just this one scene. Truly amazing and captivating. I'm putting this in my acting toolbox to pull out later when I need it
The delivery on Nacho's speech: "So when you are sitting in your shi##y nursing home, and you're sucking down on your Jell-o night after night, for the rest of your life, *you think of me*" Great actors man
Nacho and Hank were the only characters in this that could be classed as hero's. Both had a strong sense of morality, both were devoted to their families, and both knew real evil when they saw it and tried to do something about it despite knowing the risks to themselves. And both met their end bravely, spitting defiance at their enemies. So many similarities between them. Other than Nacho killing himself, their deaths were more or less identical. Nacho would of made a good copper and I think Hank as a crook would of been alot like Nacho.
You’re fucking stupid, Hank is one of the worst people in this show from a morality standpoint. He kept a gangsters teeth, he bragged about killing, he and picture to people dead bodies, he a a total scumbag and your an absolute fuckimg idiot
Gus is the true hero. He killed all the homophobes in the Salamanca family, and got revenge for when Hector Salamanca murdered his husband right in front of him the first time he met Don Eladio. Sure Hector technically killed him at the end too, but only after having to see literally every member of his family be murdered one by one until they were all gone and Hector couldn't do anything himself because he was confined to a wheelchair, barely able to even move, except for his finger. That must have been torture for him, to see his entire family and everything he worked for be destroyed by a tactical gay nuke known as Gus. That's what you get for being a homophobe. Gus is genuinely one of if not THE most badass gay characters in all of fiction. It's hard to think of anyone else. In real life there's definitely more badass gay people throughout history, like Harvey Milk, but yeah in fiction, these kind of characters are few and far between. And Gus completely breaks every single lazy stereotype that other worse writers use when they're writing a gay character. Mr Vince, first name Bravo, second name Vince, is too good of a writer to rely on lazy stereotypes and so he breaks them all when writing Gus, which is incredibly refreshing, because sadly it's still quite unique in fiction even these days.
Nacho went out like a Goat. He pushed the salamancas and the cartel just so they could capture him. In the very end he got to go out on his on terms, all while rubbing it to Hector that hes the reason hes in that wheelchair AND keeping gus' secret. One of the most loyal and likeable characters in tv, a true G
Nacho’s a G but “loyal” is probably not a word you should describe him with lol. Not that any of his bosses deserve loyalty, but he literally only stuck by Gus because of his dad being in danger
every single person on this video is dead. they all got what they want in killing each other which is a W but they all died in the process so ultimately an L
Nacho was 💯 the hardest fucking gangster in the entire series yo! In this scene dude had an out via Mike! Not only did he not take it, he kept his word & stayed loyal to Gus in the face of certain death! 😎 #respect
Michael Mando is awesome in any role he plays, as a Spider-Man fan I can't wait to see how he portrays Scorpion, that'll be one hell of a crazy villain
This is obvious but if nacho was unable to grab don bolsas gun and take his own life like that, he would have been brutally tortured for days until succumbing to his injuries and dying. He put the love for his father before his own will to live by agreeing to go with Gus’ plan. sacrificing himself for the safety of his father and yet his dad would never be able to know how and what Ignacio did for him. His death was surely honorable. And he got the last word with the cartel and salamancas. One of the biggest “FUCK YOU”s in breaking bad. Nacho was one of my favorite characters. Definitely a win
@@selfhealing Exactly. Part of the plan was for Mike to shoot Nacho so he wouldn't be tortured, and frame it as "we were just protecting bolsa". Nobody expected the suicide.
