Nachos with the Coffey Spit and the Firebox X-CASE 

Greetings from England! I recently received a Coffey spit from FoldingFirebox and, after field testing, all I can say is that it conforms, precisely, to the wisdom that the best ideas/ solutions are the simple ones. It's an outstanding product that deserves much wider distribution/ recognition. From bacon rashers to a whole chicken - lazy campfire cooking is a breeze!

SHANE, Just wanted to thank you for following thru on your Coffey Spit, I am excited to be getting one, I could have cobbled one together but it would not have been as nice as yours, I know that I will enjoy using the Spit, of course your demos just add more fuel to the fire for wanting to use it, glad you made your goal and then some, thanks.

Hey shane, I think of you as a stove expert, I have the nano ti. and i want to use a trangia gas burner in it, but I want to remove the metal plate on the trangia gas burner because in all the videos i see it is gone all the time, but I cant get it off without destroying the plate,

When will you have a option on the Spit to have longer spikes in the ground? The ones you offer on the set are much too short, When you offer longer stakes i will most likely order the Coffey Spit set...

I bought your spit when I bought my 5" Firebox but haven't had time to use it yet. I have so many plans for your awesome invention & I'm thinking my 1st use is going to be a Cornish Hen. I love steak on my FBS, so I'm thinking a bird is going to be pretty nice too! Was also thinking it will work great with a Dakota Fire Pit set-up.

Was that a Byrd cara cara 2? I've been using rubbing alcohol lately in my Trangia and it causes so much soot on my pots. Any recommendations on a cleaner yet cheap fuel? Also, would love to see you use the new pathfinder 1.2 liter stainless steel kettle and see what you think about it. I love mine but getting strong enough coffee is a bit of a learning curve with it.
