The Daija arcade stick by Nacon had input lag issues. The newest firmware is designed to alleviate the problem. The video breaks down how efficient the Daija is especially when compared to other sticks on the market.

I really appreciate the effort behind this video! 2.04 firmware roll out was decisive for me to make up my mind about the Daija and get it. The Phantomnaut and Loïc *WydD* Petit made a heck of a job around it and deserve all the praise, the video is the sweetest cherry on top!

Thanks a lot for this tuto ! I discovered it randomly by the way and you know what ? I'm also a Tekken player and I totally understand that input lag can be problematic, especially with Kazuya's perfect electrics. 😅

@@Love4juliaT8 Oh ok. Yes I'm using this stick. I don't know if wave dashes are easy because I'm not a Mishima user. However, I guarantee it's a very precise stick.

Thank you so much dude,i didn't even know they had released a firmware for the lag, i bought this stick last year on my birthday and i did noticed some input lag by trading counter hit magic 4 with opponents on the same frame, 7/10 times it was me who got countered but now There's def an improvement there if we go by your numbers.

Thanks, nice video. Ordered one of these and looking forward to it. Is it bad when i try to update the firmware if the stick already has version 2.04? And how can i tell if my stick is already on version 2.04?

Great video. Thanks for helping me with the firmware. Now it works like a charm. By the way the viewlix layout too me looks the same as the Hori rap 4 for example or am i missing something ?

Wait, the Brook boord is *that* fast with inputs? Impressive... I'd actually think it was less fast so this is surprising. Too bad it doesn't support native Ps5 games... hope they come out with a Ps5 compliant version some day.

I have the same stick. Does the Coorejam lever V2 fits without any modding or should I do some sort of filing/drilling on mounting plates. Nice content. Hope you are having good time Daija.

I have a Hori FE and just ordered yesterday an Daija for 153 eur .. sincerly cant wait for it. I love the FE but for customizing the Daija its a little better

Do the input lag reduce some miss input? I explain myself : before install the new firmware, when I played my main on tekken 7 (Heihachi) I was able to do omen fist 99% of time (frame perfect) and electrics 99% of the time too. I installed the firmware and my execution is not t'as good as before So weird It's heartbreaking to realize I didn't have a godlike execution but my stick carried me...

is this delay still to high? im a head to buy this stick but im a bit scared of that input lag thing, because i really hate delay. i instantly feel if a game is in bordered fullscreen or v-sync. and i cant play on TVs because the input lag kills me. i have no idea if this stick will be too slow for me.

do you have any info on the input lag of the panthera? im curious how different the input lag is now, especially considering the fact that they're extremely similar sticks. also great video my dude! i was helping a friend look into sticks and kept telling her "the nacon daija is sick but is laggy" until i saw this vid, now i feel like a dumbass hahahaha. probs will still recommend an etokki omni though, but shiet this question i have is gonna haunt me forever now... if you know where i can find the answers or can point me in the right direction, that'd be dope too. i can't test my panthera myself since 1) too stupid and 2) too broke so rip.

Great video, when I unplug my Daija from my pc it shows a red light instead of a blue light and won;t work in any games. I have to reboot my pc and then the light turns blue and joystick will work again. Tis seems to happen randomly. Do you know what causes this? I never saw this red light until I upgraded the firmware.

@@xDyrek i flashed firmware again and left the stick plugged in then switched off my pc and disconnected stick . Restarted pc and then plugged back in. It hasnt happened since (as of yet). I think the issue is caused by firmware not fully completing during update. Problem is firmware and instructions give no clear guidence on when to connect/disconnect

Well that's a very big deal since the Daija is on discount on their site! It's 150 on their site but I'm also thinking of a Panthera Evo for 170 hmmm...

if u havent bought either yet i wanna say i have an evo, its a good stick if u dont want to mod but if you want to mod it is horrible if u save an extra 30 ish u can get an obsidian which is a flagship fightstick just a heads up :D

You can order a new one because you probably fried your stick.

@@saporob Made the test with it aswell. Same response as the 2.04 one :) I bought mine recently, so they mayby pre-installed it or something.

If you can find one for a good price then sure. Might be a bit bulky to wield but otherwise it's a good stick now.

I was worried, as I wanted to buy this one, there is a razer panthera sfv edition on a site but because it only showed Google image pictures I decided against buying it, I wanted something to get me started and that's easy to mod and change parts since the customizability is why I'm mostly interested in fightsticks and this seems like a good choice.

After installation, it shows a tick mark then what? It stays like that. My stick turns off. Do I need to replug after that. Some insight for tech handicapped people?

3:30 The smell of the stick is horrendous. The foam insert that they put in the case had to go and I had to take off the rubber mat and remove the nasty yellow glue they used with acetone. Both reeked!

You need windows to update the driver but it works on everything. Some people had problems, it's better you don't try it.

Is it me or this shit has serious problems with the new firmware? maybe i have been unlucky but the first unit had a defective usb cable(not a breaking news considering they use really cheap usb cables...). Tried a new one and sometime buttons stop to work . nacon doesn't even reply to simply answers, they just censor the reviews on their site...
