@@dashriprock8596 Chance made a huge mistake giving her the P/O pass. He should have given it to Maddi. Then he could have sent Nadage home in the P/Os and kept Kyle without any embarrassment.

​@@laurad119 Chance has no problem with sending the PO pass person home... Just ask Manasseh. He probably would've chose RLETTO over Kyle anyways.

​@@laurad119I think the reason he gave the pass to Nadege was because Maddi won that round. It was obvious that it was Maddi who won the battle. So I think the playoff pass is the only way to keep Nadege. Chance doesn't have a steal or save for that round. I think that's why

I think it being live didn't help either bc the dynamics are so important but the mic was a bit all over the place here

I agree … I had not cared much for her. By far her best performance… goes to show how you have to have the right song from the go.

@@williamwilliams1368 Too many excuses...oh the audience doesn't like this style of music. Now it's because the song isn't trendy. So what - it's from the 80s, but still well-known. Bottom line: forget the style and trendiness blah blah blah. Her singing was atrocious.

I couldn't agree more. A shame Nadege is out and that the Voice is only 3 weeks of live shows unlike winner Tessanne Chin's season back in 2013 when there were some 10 weeks of live shows. Tae, L and Zoe have nothing on Nadege.

These shows are rushing. When they rap up in May it's only a few months from when they started. Idol is down to top 5 already.

​@@nickw9759Yeah.. idk what it is. Maybe they see the ratings are higher during the blinds, battles and knockouts. I never thought I'd see the day where the live rounds are the same length as the blind auditions. I just think it has to be due to ratings and money.

@@1337Glue I believe that too. Ratings have dropped for sure. Show is just not the same since maybe 2013, one of the last really good strong seasons when Tessanne Chin won. Oh, and Koryn Hawthorne and Hannah Huston's seasons.

It was simply awful.

She's noticeably flat on several notes in the first half of the song. Nowhere near as flat as that phony rock singer last night though. The right person won from this unjust bottom 4. Tae performed and sang the best, by far.

I have to agree with you. It was not top form. If you do a Sade song you have to do to par with Sade or better!

@@TombCat Do you mean that guy with the hair (sorry don't mean disrespect but I am awful with names). Yeah, I thought he was flat in that song (the Queen song) and in "Africa" but when he got that standing O from all the coaches, I thought I was mistaken.

it usually happens w the lives, combination of the artists getting used to singing live and, if we're being honest, editors not being able to alter their voices at all in post-production

@@srfmulti4593 Your second point is the main one. The Voice autotunes and pitch corrects all the performances up until the live shows. From auditions to playoffs. Some require more help than others. Combined with the fact that they invite so many already established singers to audition for the show and we get what we get. Some great singers who never win and some newcomers who get all messed up in The Lives. Look how L was exposed and that weirdo rock singer in their first live performance. Their vocals were painful. Even Maddy was not great last night. Nadeje can sing and she's elegant about it. But jazzy singing just doesn't resonate with enough people. Karen, Asher, Tae and Madison are the best vocalists this year. That retro dude on John's team can sing too - but he's a bit too cruise ship performer. The Voice is not a respected show. The winners seldom prosper and the best singers seldom win. Asher, who is a real find - is lucky to be on team Reba. He's a stunning singer - but a big black man with blue contacts and beyonce wigs with long fingernails and so much sugar in his tank wouldn't have a chance if he wasn't on The Queen of Country Music's team. I'm rooting for him. I believe Reba is too. They all are secretly rooting for Asher - because no one else is on his level. And he's not a professional singer like Karen, Josh and Maddy. If that 50 year old fake rock singer in sequin jackets wins - Ima gone shoot myself.

@@JohnJohn-fz6nt She was bad last night and truly terrible tonight. I'm a musician and singer, I can be honest. The first clue about L was how shocked the other judges were when Reba gave her the playoff pass. As discussed - the auditions, battle rounds, knockouts and the playoffs are all autotuned and enhanced before the show broadcasts. We can tell what contestants sound like in tone - but are spared most of their vocal weakness and big mistakes. But the judges hear what they really sound like. Why do you think they show us so little of the rehearsals and each year cut back on the number of LIVE shows??? The Voice is about the superstar judges - not the singers. Reba had a soft spot for L. Sweet.

You're a good son. Enjoy this simple time with your mom. I'm sure it's not always easy. My best to you both. At least you're not watching NCIS or F-Boy Island. 🙂
