Nader Sadek brings Karl Sanders (Nile), Derek Roddy (Serpents Rise), Mahmud Gecekusu (Perversion) To Egypt to collaborate on the new EP , "The Serapeum".
Joining Sadek and Co. are Dominic 'Forest' Lapointe (Augury), Alex Zubair (Nephelium) and Nancy Mounir (Massive Scar Era).
Vocals were recorded inside the Pyramid of Snefru, Dahshur, Egypt.

My two cents: Very technical-sounding stuff-a bit more than your typical remix material! Also, seeing the musicians in the studio with the mixing boards and indicator lights-a la Mick Gordon's Doom work-feels different than your go-to music videos/live footage: more deconstructed, and a bit laid back. Sonically it's still pretty tight, and doesn't have quite the same "live" sound that, say, Iron Maiden loves to tout in their own latter-day material; these chaps are clearly playing in the same room (for us to see), but their attack feels coherent, slick and organized. Volume-wise, nothing is too loud-including the rhythm section, which doesn't drown out the solo. Nice use of panning with the death growls to the right (5:18) and tremolo guitars to the left (5:29). The female vocals overhead really remind me of Magma; at times, I wanted to close my eyes and meditate amid the deliberate turmoil. It's not the rawest or the heaviest, but it is coherent. Sorry this one's a bit shorter than usual! I didn't want to review the song so much as focus on the audio production. However, I'm used to comparing two tracks and spotting the small differences. This felt a little less arduous/prolific. Still, it's a smooth listen, and I love that you recorded the vocals inside an actual pyramid. How on earth did you manage that? Glad to see that you're staying productive, and I'll keep an ear out eagerly for any material that you work on-remixed or original. :)

Thank you for putting so much effort in your Review Mr. Van Der Waard, to answer your question, myself and Michael Rexen ( a musician from Denmark) took my laptop, a cloud lifter, and an SM7b, we also took a zoom and held it by the ceiling to capture the echo and use it as real delay, as the sm7b will not capture most of the resonance bouncing off the wall. @@ahdykhairat I only mess around with editing on my phone for fun, there's quite alot of amazing music editors on the app store, surprisingly. But, me being a 10000% fuckin' noob, I have zero idea how to loop a part of a song. Like, the part I loop, it'll only play from the point I start the loop, to where I want it to end, but I don't know how to make it loop how I want it, while also playing the entire track. Not sure if that's something you can even help with, but you're the best shot I've got, so I figured I may aswell ask!
