nitin nishant it's scary because it makes people realise the importance of the rivers that they've been neglecting for centuries. That could be considered a paap, of which every "Indian" has taken part.
See.. Am only responsible for what I say and not what you understand as per your own perception. With that said... When did I mention that we should get Pakistan back? I didn't!! Also the reason for renaming it back is that we bring back its long glory its rich culture and heritage and take pride in it and not try so hard to convert it into another modern (Western) nation. Also we are better off without Pakistan. Hope I've answered your question.
Akash Sasidharan see one thing that you must really understand is that it's not the 1900s we are passed that time.. And in today's date.. We cannot just attack a nation and expand our territory... What your talking is so ridiculous and absurd.. I don't even know what to say.. Am at loss of words.. You totally failed to understand my previous comment which emphasised on why should we name it back. Also your argument makes no sense and also you have a weak sense of history.. If you really want to see how large as a territory to Bharat then go read about it... You'll be quite surprised that it was didnt just includ Pakistan but many more territories as well which today are a nation of their own. So please read my previous comment again and understand it. We don't need any other land to reclaim our lost glory. This much is enough. We have north, south , east. We could just make Bharat a shinning example for the whole world to follow. Only if unite as Indians and not as people from their respective states or regions. And please(disclaimers) nothing about this is religious.
When I heard this song I feel that “ Bharatam” word. What a word bharatam mahabharatam it signifies everything that we have in our country and which make our nation truly unique...we would really like to call our country Bharat instead of calling it India.... The phenomenon country bharat where lord Shive, lord Rama lives in everyone’s heart ❤️ ... really proud of hindusm...piece..if agreed hit that like button
Sounds of Isha team 🙏 Please make an epic anthem for #FreeTNtemples just like this one which feels like a waking call, a motivational anthem, giving goosebumps and transcendental feelings 😭🙏🌼🌼🌼🕉️
Sadhguru is no preacher, nor a saint - he is realistic and talking facts, as we know facts are hard to be held on - Everything needs a lead and we have one here, it's time to rejuvenate and stick to basics for a better living.
Umm that's what a preacher and a saint does. Some saints live in seclusion and some in the society. He's the latter one. It's funny to identify being a saint and being realistic as two different kinds. A saint is the most realistic version of the self.
People are stuck in past and can't accept a present living master... When vivekanand was alive no one helped him now everybody praises him.... Vivekanand could not do any consecration.... He was not a master... He was a disciple
Nadi raashtrasya maha amritam.. Soo true,.. hope all of us will recognize this and direct our efforts towards revitalization of our rivers...Nice Reminder to all of us with a heart touching music.. Thanks.
I'm proud to have understood the meaning of lyrics, You don't have to know sanskrit to understand basic sanskrit, you just need a grip over your regional language mine is kannada :D
Funny part is even in Tamilnadu where lots of idiots claim Tamil is completely separate language form samaskritham almost every people can understand the meaning of this song even illiterate people.
@Prabha KarOk since you say that, I am ready to accept whatever the truth is. But what I stated is my own opinion based on my own observation. I simply can't accept Tamil and Sanskrit are complete different languages because some British said so, they had it for various reasons, like dividing the Indians, create conflict within them. So if you have any evidence for what you said, please direct me, so I can "EDUCATE" myself.
@Prabha Kar Ok this is what I found, Om = Brahma; The primeval sound of the Universe bhur = embodiment of vital spiritual energy (pran) bhuwah = destroyer of sufferings swaha = realization of happiness tat = that savitur = bright like the sun varenyam = choicest bhargo = destroyer of sins devasya = divine dheemahi = may imbibe dhiyo = intellect yo = who naha = our prachodayat = may inspire now what is your point, just tell it directly. Because I can't get your point from the meaning I found.
@Prabha Kar I tried to read Puranaanuru one of the old Tamil literary work and I can't understand a world of it and its true to most of the old Tamil works, even in Thirukural most Tamil people cannot understand without someone's commentary. So what that mean the old Tamil is not related in any way to modern Tamil, No. Its just the method used in old days to construct verses demand minimum words because of oral tradition of India so you need a guru to decipher the meaning of the verse, its true in old days or in modern days. Please just use your brain mate. I can ask stupid questions like you did like "IF sanskrit is mother of so called 'Indo-european' languages why can't modern day Germens, Births, Russians able to understand Gayathri mantra just buy seeing it", But I don't do that because I know that's stupid.
@Prabha Kar Don't says this is this, I know about that stupid classification of Indian languages. If you have any evidence to prove you point, then I will look into it. Or just state your opinion, I may or may not accept depending on the evidence. Don't ask me accept whatever you say just by your word or any White dude's. If you want you me accept you point, you may have to answer lots of my questions, that I myself can't able to find answers.
Sadguru you are epitome of wisdon and simplicity. The guide to our meaningless life. You are a the perfect example why our great nation was the called the golden bird and schollars, and foreign dignitaries were attracted towards it. Jay Bharata
I don’t think so! He is definitely great in promoting and creating awareness on a certain cause. That doesn’t make him eligible to be a prime minister.
Yes...change the name of our country Change our national anthem Change our national song Change our pm Change our history Change everything Our country does not deserved to be a country...rather ise upamahaadesh kyu bola jaata hai... mahadesh kyu nhi ghoshit kaarte... Saab same national anthem kyu gaate hai..sabki choice alag alag hai 6o anthem bhi sabke liye alag alag hobi chahiye naa.... Mujhe Bharatam se jyada Bharotborsho bolna jyada accha lagta hai...so our desh's name thurii mahadesh's name should be renamed to Bharotmohaborsho... Get lost noww..........
I read a lot of comments on the name change of the country. The real Bharatham is dying everyday in the form of our rivers extinction. Let's save them and name the country as Bharath in real. No point if we change and then there's no life in Bharath. P.S - I love Bharat name, but with all rivers and country nourishing with life.
namaskaram!!! I am persuing btech. in civil engineering.I too want to join as a volunteer,It's a serious issue,we all are with you. VANDE BHARATAVARSHA..._/\_..

How it would be to put instead of "jivana karana mula tatvam" -> "yamuna godavari mula jivyam" ?? Then all the Sapta Sindhavah would be integrated ! :) thank you for this beautilful mantra, Im singing and playing it on the guitar all the time :)) India Isha and Rally for Rivers shall be blessed !
Dear Sir, A railway track is going to be laid from Mysore to Coorg District. Coorg is the Water Tank of Bangalore. Coorg being a hilly and forested area the River Cauvery is born here. And it is the Cauvery that provides IT city Bangalore, with its drinking water. WHY THE RAILWAY TRACK TO COORG (KODAGU) MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO EVEN START FROM MYSORE. - The estates and forests here are the main rain catchment area for the River Cauvery. 50% of the volume of water in the River is from here, and this volume has been decreasing steadily. - For a railway track to be laid, lakhs and lakhs of trees will need to be cut in this ecologically sensitive area. - The River Cauvery is the lifeline of South India and provides water to over 80 million (8 crore) people, and 600 major industries across the region. It is therefore in the National Interest to preserve the Coorg ecology. - The food, water and economic security of Southern Karnataka and Tamil Nadu hinges largely on the Cauvery River. In Karnataka, these regions include the citizens and farmers of Bangalore, Mysore, Mandya and Coorg. And in Tamil Nadu it covers the districts of Salem, Erode, Trichy, Thanjavur and Nagapattinam. - Simply put, no trees in Coorg means no River Cauvery. Every tree holds 30,000 to 40,000 litres of water, its roots release water underground to form tiny streams, and its leaves give off moisture into the air to create humidity that invites rain from passing clouds. - The sad truth is that already lakhs of trees have been cut for various so-called development projects. A high-tension power line that could have gone down the coast of Karnataka, instead of coming inland to cut over 50,000 trees in the forests of Coorg. Two road-widening projects to National Highway and State Highway standards is also planned and will cut lakhs more trees.. - Four new species of trees were added to the list of trees that can be cut as timber. This has caused a further loss of lakhs of trees within the last year. WHY SPEND RS. 1800 CRORE FOR A RAILWAY TRACK THAT HAS BEEN FOUND ECONOMICALLY NOT VIABLE? - Earlier studies done by the Railway Department of the economic feasibility of this route, have declared that this track is not financially viable. The population of Coorg and the potential traffic of customers do not call for a railway track. - The track if executed will be done at a cost Rs. 1800 crores, the returns are far too small to justify this large expense. This money can be used for more urgent and important purposes in the Country. - The excuse of promoting tourism is being given by the Govt, but the truth is there are already too many resorts and home stays, and stinking piles of garbage are lining many of the roads. In fact the locals are fed up and are trying to regulate the tourism. - Another excuse given by the Government is that the coffee grown here can be sent by train to Mangalore port, but the fact is that coffee is already being despatched by road, quite efficiently and economically. Also if lakhs of trees are cut by the railway track entering Kodagu and branching out in various directions, the rain and moisture in the air will be so badly affected that coffee cannot be grown here anyway. WHAT WILL THE IMPACT BE OF THE RAILWAY TRACK ENTERING KUSHALNAGAR IN COORG, ON ALL THE OTHER AREAS CONCERNED? - The railway track should not be allowed to even start from Mysore, because once it reaches Kushalnagar, the doorway to the district, it will be impossible to stop it from continuing inwards into the estates and forests of the district. There is simply too much timber money involved. - For the railway track to enter Coorg district, it has to overcome the many laws which are intended to protect a hilly, forested, tribal district. Therefore, once the railway track enters this district, it will be very easy for it to not only travel to Madikeri, but it will criss-cross all over the district to the borders with Kerala, and the borders of the Karnataka districts of Dakshina Kannada and Hassan. - Finally there will be so many tracks laid and so many lakhs of trees lost, that the local tree cover will no longer be able to generate rain and hold the water to create the River Cauvery. - The biggest losers in this tragedy will be the 8 crore people of Karnataka (including Bangalore), and Tamil Nadu, who depend on the River Cauvery. - The tree loss from the railway track entering Coorg would be so much that it is difficult to calculate, and the long-term effect on the climate and water supply is difficult to predict. Though the heat wave conditions of the summer of 2016 and 2017, the failed monsoon and the water shortage, gave us an unpleasant taste of things to come. Please sign this petition and forward it to others who will support the cause. Help us to stop the railway track to Coorg, save the trees and protect the drinking water of 8 crore Indians in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu www.change.org/p/min-ecology-karnataka-gov-in-stop-the-railway-to-coorg-save-river-cauvery-your-drinking-wate
Thank you so very much for bringing up this topic. I'm from Kodagu myself, and I can say with certainty that a vast majority of the people living in Kodagu are completely against the railway line project. A few pathetic sell-outs sadly are in favour of it. There has been enough destruction in my beautiful hometown already in the last two years. It's devastating to watch. Any person with a little bit of common sense will understand why we are so against this project. In the name of tourism and development, Kodagu has already been exploited enough.
I seriously don't understand that these type of pathetic people exist. How can they cut trees when the residentials are totally against . What is the use? No water, no air,no food then what will we do with that sort of development.
Why missed call ? To Submit a policy recommendation for central government, peoples support is very vital. For a large environmental movement throughout the country like this, minimum of 10 crore votes are needed. Below is the plan : It involves creating and maintaining tree cover for a minimum of one kilometer on either side of the entire river length and half a kilometer for tributaries. The benefits of tree planting have been indisputably demonstrated by Project GreenHands. Native forest trees would be planted in government-owned land along riverbanks. Organic fruit tree cultivation would be taken up on private farmers’ lands. This solution ensures that rivers are restored while also enhancing farmers’ livelihood by more than doubling their income in five years. The availability of fruit also improves nutritional intake among people. Trees help keep rivers perennial, mitigate floods and drought, increase precipitation, mitigate climate change and prevent soil erosion.
I dont even know what the meaning of the words are, but when I first heard this song it made me cry.. Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely beautiful!!!!!!!!!
Debkiran manity. You need to attend inner engineering program offered by Isha foundation at Isha yoga centers, you can browse for them, this you should do if you are really interested in volunteering. The course is so good and you get to know more about sadguru and his vision through this course and then you can become a volunteer by registering to Isha foundation
It is great that Sadhguru is acting to revive Kaveri river. However great intentions of Sadhguru are, it would be a serious mistake to do such a monumental project as just one man show by Sadhguru. Sadhguru and Government should hold open conferences of experts in agriculture, hydrology, forest management and climate change. Such technical discussions are more important than holding public dialogues with ignorant Bollywood celebrities. BTW, we have only 12 years left to slow and stop global warming, about which Sadhguru is totally silent. Global warming is closely related to current irregular and deficient rainfall in India and around the world.
One man who unity all stream at one platform , whether they from films , politics ,civil services or common man, great energy great clarity of thoughts, great leadership . Pranam sadguru🙏
We should start calling our Bharat like Japanese call their country Nippon, I don't why instead of India I feel more connected to Bharatam. Today onwards I'm gonna start using Bharat instead of India let's take up this challenge guys
Bharatam includes Lord Shiva to Lord Ram, From Chanakya to The Great Chollas, from The Sikh warriors to the Madras Regiment, from gurkhas of the east to the Rajputs and marathas of the West. Bharatam belongs to APJ abdul kalam and Ar rehman, Bharatam belongs from Rishi kashyap to Lord Parshuram. It is a Land of Ayappa and Lord krishna. It is a Land of Maa kali and Kalpana Chawla. It is the Land of Rani Laxmi bai and Bhagat Singh. It is not just a land but a bunch of Million thoughts, an example of co-existence, valour and peace.
