He does say that the entire lobby lowrolled towards the end, and he is right about that. The Al'Akir player didn't get a Pokey until turn 14 (didn't have one turn 13, had a golden one turn 14), so they only just got their scaling going at the end, and by then it was too late.

Skipping shellemental hurts my soul 😢 so many perma stats wasted. I swear there’s always one good minion each patch that kripp will just refuse to use lol, before it was the demon quilboar dude.

If you have some spare gold, no real minion to buy, and you've already lost your armour, it may give you just another round of survival in the end. That may be the difference between 4th and 3rd. If you're already curbstomping the lobby it doesn't hurt. If you're not, it's a bit of extra safety. But if you have better options for the money, you should likely pick those.

i had a game that went to 19. the other team had full life and we had like nothing. in the end we lost after wining like 4 rounds and drawing. was kinda awesome. i think we played mechs and quillboar and the other team the same

I'm pretty slow on whether things have been nerfed or not but considering how op quilboar are the t6 quilboar should be nerfed to start of turn to stop drakari scaling
