As an outsider who have lived in nagaland for almost 2 decades amongst a peaceful naga society, I'm sad today to see such things happening. Something similar has been happening since a very long time within my own society and eventually now my people are almost a secondary race in our own land here in my homeland. Nagas are a hugely honorable and big hearted people I've ever known. I appeal to all Nagas to shed your tribalism mindset and stand united against such outside incursion of your home and hearth. you might not know this, but many naga girls voluntarily with (no force, by anyone. they are not as innocent as you think) work as hoes in chennai. just recenlty chennai police caught them and sent them back to nagaland. this ruins the reputaion of nagas for outside states too

From personal experience in kohima, a rude non local shop keeper and i got into verbal confrontation but the most hurtful was the local passerby, started scolding me without knowing anything... I was so disappointed in that uncle.

In Nagaland Sumis are the people who are extremely supporting Non-locals specially in Dimapur. For instance, I once witnessed in Purana bazaar, at Daily market, a butcher who was a non-local guy who had a fake sumi accent was so noisey while selling meat (pork), speaking hindi in Sumi accent and plus singing infront of so many Naga customers. Just by this attitude, we come to know that there are some Naga brothers who are backing and supporting him. He was acting superior infront of so many Nagas. Just watch one day sooner or later we Nagas would be under the Non-locals if we don't control now. Nagaland is on the track to become a 2nd Tripura. Beware! 🙏

I witnessed similar incident recently in Dimapur at Purana bazaar. Some non-locals were having a heated argument with one of our brother, I was thinking that they'd settle their matter peacefully but instead,things escalated leading to brawl match so, I also went over and pushed em away but when I thought it was over, some non-locals brought some of our naga niggas and made the situation even worse.. I was surprised to see how our people were supporting outsiders. For instance, if we've done wrong to em, we should accept our mistakes and ask for forgiveness cuz that makes us a human being but when we support someone's mistake knowingly, hoping that someone would give us something in return, I'll say, we are not living like a human. Make friends, be happy with em but that doesn't mean we should support em and beat up our own brothers for the sake of business.. Lets always stand for the truth and be a Hero not a ZERO..
Years back my friend from Guwahati went to buy some clothes and asked the shopkeeper for some discount then the shopkeeper replied if you want to buy it don't bargain no body will say anything if we kill you and leave you on the roadside. Nagas support these people. Recently faced an incident where a group of Local Guys came and charged me for trying to bargain with a vendor for overpricing. They(non locals) made a phone call and these local goons arrived within minutes. I asked them their details and they refused and said just two words, “MARKET STAFF.” Proudly as if they’re the kings of the area. What a society we live in❤😂 God bless Nagaland.

Many cases of locals being smash beaten black and blue by non locals especially by ibis .Few years back an Angami in his 60s was badly beaten by miyas at chumu, A sumi Doctor was beaten by Miyas in Dimapur, A son of a school owner in Dimapur was beaten to death by Non locals, An innocent guy in his 20s was beaten by group of non locals .And there may be many unreported cases . I think its high time to stop adopt ,renting out buildings,land to outsiders.

own incident, our taxi driver went to service center in burmacamp for washing the car but while coming out a truck from behind hit the taxi and the front left side was damaged . We saw there was a cctv at the entrance so we ask to look at the cctv but after sometimes the owner( bihari) sent around 10+ sema manu (sumi) and 1 chakhesang and started threatening the driver right in front of us (that they know people from DC and they will cancel the driver documents and you won't be able to hide we will find you and so much more even getting the whole truck a repaint, ..........
