u all have done so well, representing from Nagaland, what tribes it may be, still it's from Nagaland. So am proud of u all. Bless u all in days to come 😊
If I heard correctly, the captain said they practiced it for 5 or 6 days only. Look at how fast they adapted by learning from their opponent and using those new technique in their Semi. Kerala is into tug of war for a long time. Do a research, it seem to be much popular there. We were born just today in this field. Now the trophy is like a tight slap on the face of those shameless keyboard warriors 😅
@@THUGLIFE-bp6ew This is just the beginning, so let's remain hopeful that our people will have more time for practice in the future. The challenge I see is that tug of war has yet to be integrated into mainstream sports in Nagaland, and we haven't even established tug of war competitions at the district and state levels. Consequently, transitioning to a professional level will undoubtedly require time and effort. However, it's worth noting that, considering the team's performance, I'm genuinely astonished by their adaptability. It's clear that God has blessed the Nagas with agility and adaptability, as they quickly adopted professional pulling techniques in just a day. Winning a SILVER MEDAL as first-time participants is a remarkable achievement! Kudos to the entire team, both players and leaders, for taking the initiative to expose our youth to this sport. Now that this accomplishment has garnered significant attention, we hope to see more enthusiasts stepping forward from all districts, and we also anticipate that the government will acknowledge this sporting discipline. Providing opportunities for our youth to excel and become experts in this field should be a priority moving forward.
