it’s held by sm and not just some league, this is the nationals. It’s not just uaap and ncaa schools, you got also the best of the best players from different regions which they get by holding a preliminary tournament for that specific region. The school that comes out on top gets the chance to represent their region and also recruit players who they went against to form the best team possible for that region. And itms literally called the SM NBTC League, held by sm so when different regions, unis, already have their team set up, the best of the best high school kids go up against each other here. Even national championships are held on NBA Courts and this is basically the national championship for high school.
@@echo4388 National Championships in the US are followed better by their communities. Let the kids play in front of a crowd. Maybe SM should bring this to the courts closer to their malls in the country
the preliminary tournament for qualifying for thr final tournament at moa takes place at schools and courts known at the region. And if given the chance, no high school, team, or player would say no for an opportunity to play at the moa arena. It’s not just some high school tournament like AAU, this is for the national championship so it’s only fitting. plus you really can’t blame ‘community’ on this one. Their games are being held at morning-afternoon where most people are busy, it’s not like the tournament is exclusive to players only.
@@echo4388 Playing in MOA arena is a different conversation. I'm simply talking about having a crowd to cheer instead of an empty arena where the chairs go wild. We have events all over the city that are held in the morning-afternoon and people come to watch
