@@explosivejv SAME BRO, SAME!!!! it was my favorite when i first saw it, and loved it so much, and of course, it was discontinued, it's put in my 1st favorite discontinued, right now my favorite gotta be block tales, but man I miss adventure story.
The reason why bug didn't die is due to the scrolling hp mechanic, your not dead until your hp scrolls down to 0, meaning if can heal before your hp hits 0 you can live even if it would normally kill you.
Fun fact: if you play solo, or is the last one remain, you will actually have two turns instead of one, enough for one turn attack and one turn defense. Also, timing on the statues are extremely strict, if you're playing solo, Id recommend using safe guard and the second turn using shield for low damage if you fail to dodge the attack.
Did it solo on my first try, (without items because I like to hoard things) with the safe guard and ice dagger, the strategy I used is to use the free turn to either attack or use the ice dagger and then defend before their turn, to be honest is not that hard but it's tedious as hell since at most you're dealing 4-6 every 4 turns (also the timing for the lightspeed attack is horrible to learn)
The Best thing to do in solo 20 is use the freezer shield and use dinamite because the ice dagger give You some sp and You can actually use the happy sp to get extra and win USING your time and your brain also is more important Dodge everything to win
@@NoymoHDthat's kinda what I did, playing it safely rather than playing it risky on solo, barely using any items. Just dynamite and defend and maybe a couple of ice daggers to restore HP and SP
Actually a pretty neat way to learn how to dodge most Block tales enemies are time cues, this includes the unexpected zooming of the Sentient Statues Edit: I mean there's a little stomp sound right before they zoom, usually like half a second later that sound (or your reaction time) and you'll get a dodge, or you can get used to that timing and react according to the sound.
@@nathanrichterlimc.castillo216 lol the pillar only hv 2 atk the dash then the stomp. Also I just clear it with help from another player in the server,we just spam dynamite and stun them lol
Tip: if you ever want to beat the statues solo, use defence cards and guard on the second turn At that point statues each deal 2 damage which is good enough to practice perfect guards Now you can either stack up on bombs or use the card that gives 2 sp by guarding to hiroshima the statues You can also use the passive regen card ...this is how i first tried the statues (defence cards are busted)
Oh I just won by having more health than a brick wall. When fighting against rocks, turn it into a battle of attrition, as rocks are known to be weak against it.
My personal favorite strategy is increasing defense a lot via cards, getting the item+ card, and getting glue and 5 bombs. You only need to use the glue, use bombs twice, defend and dodge, then use the rest of the bombs. Of course you need to be able to dodge well and have a high bp.
I decided to go into the fight ALONE because I didn't know there were going to be four, had to ice dagger spam like a madman for 20 minutes to survive but eventually beat it first try, safe to say when a new block tales chapter comes out and the pit is expanded I am NOT going alone.
I remember doing this floor with a friend, he was main damage dealer and I was support. He died before first statue died and I kid you not I DODGED ALMOST EVERY ATTACK WITHOUT FAIL, IT WAS A SPECTACLE. Then of course I couldn’t even parry the knights when playing after that
@@Error-ff5rg it was the statues I don’t know why you’re bringing up the knights Edit: oh my last message, I meant that after preforming the feat I struggled with basic enemies
I remember both my friends died and i has to do it alone, i locked in i dodged and blocked every attack, i didnt use any iteme stop the statues either, made me feel like the MC😭
Happened to me and my friend when we were doing a 100% duo run, but unlike this, he kept me alive, no matter what, and I comboed the hell outta these guys.
i had a similar situation lol i was doing pit f19 duo with some other guy I found, and he didn't know how to parry very well so we got the first statue down, and then he died. then i said "nah, i'd win" and wiped the remaining 3 statues with a class cannon build (15 hp 6 dmg on power stab)
i was in this situation as well but i had no food and was around 2 hp with 15 sp all my teammates were down and there were still 4 but one was in haft while the rest were in like their 3rds of their health, i somehow was able to clutch without getting hit and luckily i had a happy hp card on which gave me hp each turn.
1:46 I'll tell you how he lived that, so when you get hit by an attack and you take mortal damage, meaning you are about to die your HP slowly ticks down, you can heal yourself during this time before your HP reaches 0 to avoid a Game Over. You'll see this trick a lot in the 4 Statue fights, nowhere else cuz you can take a ton of damage (24 in hard mode if you miss the dodge timing) and recover HP during the HP timer.
