Jeska's will is a Sorcery, Sunforger only allows you to find Instant cards.

Also, Charles shouldn't have been able to play the Thespian's Stage he found with Gonti. Gonti's ability doesn't allow you to play lands exiled with it.

Justin had so much floating mana with a Xantcha on board. Before his turn 9 he could have drawn 4 cards and had some more options.

Yep, I completely missed that option. Was wasting too much time thinking about what to counter/rift and I lost track of the ability to draw off Xantcha

Everyone roasts Boros for caring about equipment, but they forget that it can be VERY strong if not dealt with repeatedly.

Dont think it matters, but remember the Sword of Hearth and Home would have prevented you from putting the Bladehold War Whip on Arden, as it had pro-white. Love Nahiri. I run a token tribal build with basically every Living Weapon and For Mirrodin card available.

I have been interested in building new Nahiri so it is nice to see some gameplay with her. She seems quite fun for Living Weapon/For Mirrodin focused decks.

Edit: this is wrong, Xantcha received an update to its wording after it was released that I missed. Xantcha should have been exiled instead of returning to the field under Charles's control after Corwin lost the game. Of course, after the Inundate it doesn't matter but still At 13:00, Charles would have accidentally lost himself the game by activating Xantcha in response to Andrew's activation. Charles's Xantcha activation would resolve, taking out Corwin, and then Xantcha immediately goes back under Charles's control, so he would lose 2 life from Andrew's activation, taking him out as well.

No, Xantcha is exiled because she entered the battlefield under Corwin's control.

@@DarkEinherjarOops, you're right. I didn't realize Xantcha had updated wording from her original printing. If that's the case, then Xantcha should have been exiled after Corwin lost the game.

At 6:19 you should have gained 6 life since Solar Blaze makes creatures deal damage to themselves, and Xantcha had Lifelink. Also, unless he was specifically trying to keep him alive, Charles could have killed Corwin at 6:36 by giving Xantcha to you or Justin since he already had 18 commander damage from her and no blockers (unless he had removal in his hand).

Can you do me a favor and ask Corwin if his name is from a book? My name was going to be Corwin, from my Dad's favorite book series, The Chronicles of Amber, but instead his best friend at the time had their kid first and named him Corwin. I instead got the middle name Random.

Ive been trying to optmize my Arixmethes deck but I feel so slow and easy to be controlled while my interactions are not as effective. I feel like it's an outdated deck. Large creatures that aren't as effective as the Eldrazi for example

My biggest recommendation is to not rush removing the last slumber counter from Arix. Simply using it as a command zone ramp spell is extremely effective, and holding up ways to make it a creature at instant speed is usually a good idea. My alternate win con was Ominous Seas, plus Greater Good to deck myself, then win with Thoracle. It makes for a reliable win con if creature damage is not a realistic option

I dont know why, but im offended at charles stealing the card with the xantcha trigger on the stack that kills Corwin. If it were me, id actually feel outraged, just because of the principal of the action.

Well, for what it's worth, doing so should've actually killed him because Andrew's trigger was still on the stack and should've still resolved.

I don't understand the thought process when playing cards like Sire of Insansity? Unless you're going to win in the next turn, you're literally grinding the game to a halt. It's like playing Armageddon and then going "oh I actually can't win the win I just wanted to slow you guys down".

4:31 This is literally an illegal play. Jeska's Will is a Sorcery. SUNFORGER can only allow you to cast a red or white INSTANT with CMC 4 or less from your library. This entire game is ruined.

that cheater played a sorcery with sunforger what a noob , as a master boros player that is unnaceptable to me , i play 10 decks with sunforger and i never made a mistake like that
