He was called Kabir by the Indians, Bitrees by the Romans, Bitreek by the Ethiopians, Jubayr by the Persians, Elia in the Bible, Bariah in the Torah, On the battle of Khaybar he introduced Himself as HAIDER
I’m not a Muslim, I stopped going to Christian (Methodist) church when I was a kid when I stopped believing in God. But in the last couple of years I have been listening to Qur’an recitation in Arabic and English and it’s become a part of my daily routine. What a beautiful book. There are so many layers of interpretation to it that I’m still awestruck hearing verses to this day. Sometimes the simplest of verses will lead me to reading multiple tafsir and researching related topics to gain a deeper understanding of the intended/hidden meanings. Surah 3 Verse 7 really put things into a clear perspective regarding verses being literal and/or allegorical, and needing to be approached without perversity of heart. Having read a lot of tafsir from Shia scholars, I will definitely check out this literature as well. The Qur’an is revitalizing my belief in a higher intelligence, God.
I have the portuguese translation of Nahjul Balagha and i've read it entirely once. Now it's a good time to pick it and read it again. I'm a big fan of Dr. Ammar lectures for over 10 years.
It's your lecture let me open my heart and accept shiasm. Since then I start my different life style. I read also this book. But somehow didn't strongly understand . I'm so happy u start this topic. I will surely learn alot in this holy ramadam. My pray for u . Sayed ammar. U don't know me. But through u I find light ❤
I am a Sunni from India but I have not seen anyone who is as implausibly brilliant and intelligent at the same time as Ammar is Just look at the amount of research he has done before delivering this lecture
Wait, the book is fabricated. Nobody knows for sure who wrote it. Narrations without chance in Islam are just like garbage. Wasted endeavor otherwise. Anybody could make up stuff and attribute to others if you dont care about chains and authenticity.
@@faheemhashim2711 Jealousy. That's the right word. Sunni Muslims can't stand it that the rest of the world thinks very little to nothing of their Qur'an.
What an excellent idea to get better understanding of the greatest book written by any man on Earth. Subhanallah. Thanks much for this treasure Syed Ammar Nakhswani.
Amazing lecture! And it's just an intro; can't imagine how many hours it took Syed to prepare this 30 episode long series! Thank you for your effort! Growing up and studying in the US I also read all the western authors and quoted them extensively. Until I started to really dig deeper into our Imams and came to realize they were the ORIGINAL thinkers and proponents of so many ideologies attributed to much more recent authors. It's something I'm trying to get my child to understand also. Can't wait.... this series will be playing on our TV at every opening of the fast this Ramadan!
Thank you SAN, every lecture you deliver is phenomenal mashallah... And i get to learn something new everytime and inspires me more and more... This endeavour inshallah will be helpful in enlightenment and awakening of the community... I always revere to your lectures as i feel they are deep, authentic and knowledgeable.. A Sunni from India..
Thank Syedna for choosing Nahjul Balagah as your subject... I always had plans of reading the book.. i think the time has come for me to start reading the Book. Thank you 🙏
Absolutely mesmerizing lecture! We need a better understanding of nahjul balagha in the present time. I believe the generations educated in western societies are capable of absorbing the wisdom of this book. Good translations and commentaries (repackaging) will definitely help. Looking forward to your speeches during this holy month.
Amazing person.. God topic of discussion . If any one follow any motivational speaker ,there message is based on trails and error but msg of imam Ali(a.s) is pure wisdom which is absolute truth and will remain guidance for generation after generation. Ali imam e manasto manam ghulam e Ali
Masha Allah! Syed Ammar. Very needed topic in these times. I have read only parts of Nahjul Balagha, plan to read in full this Ramadan. Hope to see you soon Syed Zaidi, Houston
Jazaka Allah Khair Sayyed Ammar. I've been following you for 10 years and find you a breath of fresh air in matters of religion and philosophy. More people need to listen
Waiting for upcoming videos, may Allah bless you more Dr sahib, you are spreading the message of Imam Ali a.s in all over the world. May Allah protect you and give you health. You are a great asset to the Muslim world. Stay blessed and keep introducing Mohammed-O- All Mohammed and their message to the world 🌎 💖
You’re the best. The way you describe everything, the way you lay the foundation of all material information is remarkable. Thank you and may god give you more knowledge and strength for those love to learn yet lack the wisdom and guidance they require before leaving this world. I wish Nahjul balagha by Shareef ur Raazi was available in kindle. Many thanks for choosing the nahj for this Ramadan.
786 Shukar Mowla !! Aameen.
May Allah swt bless Syed with more wisdom and knowledge. Thank you for the wonderful lecture. Eagerly waiting for more. Ramadhan Mubarak Brothers & Sisters. Iltemase Dua!
Mr Ammar, after reading the translation of the holy Qur'an, next I read the English translation of Nahjul Balagha and believe me I was addicted to the reading, though I read English translation, some paragraphs I had to read three times to comprehend what Maula Ali was trying to say on the subject, so deep was the meaning. I suspect all these people you mentioned, have derived inspiration from Maula Ali on their respective subjects
I have seen the video on your channel, so glad that you found so many good things from the book. Sad part is the comments in the comment section, i do not understand how people automatically refuse it or tell you to be careful because it is a shia book. People that comment this, are not blind but their hearts are. No one of them even studied the authenticy of the book, yet they have judged. They havent even studied their own books and the authenticy of it. Allahu Akbar, Allah is the greatest, prophet Muhammad is his last prophet and Ali is our first khalif and imam after the prophet. Sister, we the followers of Muhammad and his family, We are from a School of wisdom and knowledge. The prophet said in both sunni and shia books and no one rejects, that the prophet is the city of knowledge and Ali is its gate. The prophet said that he is the House of wisdom and Ali is its gate. We follow the prophets sunnah and no others. Seek the truth and study every book that will come in your way, the blind hearted will always try to keep you away from that which they cant accept.
Iman Ali A S is the one soul who has come to the this world by being borne in the Holy Kaaba. What explanations can one keep elaborating to deaf ears his importance.
@@saqh.4439 A typical Nasibi calling a Shia the ignorant one. Just you wait, till Imam al-Hujjah (a.s.) reappears, and goes to Medina, and take out your two leaders from their graves and put them on spears just like their followers from the people of Siffin put the Holy Quran on their spears.
The Holy Kaaba is House of the Almighty. No funny matter. One doesn't have to be borne Only in a hospital. He was borne in a House of Almighty. I too have been borne in my home not a hospital. As I say importance of a person can only be understood if one opens his mind and heart to comprehend. It's OK ie your comment.
Unfortunately, a book neglected by even the Muslims - then again, even the Quran is often no more than an instagram decoration in many households - interested to see where this discussion is headed this ramadhan!
I think we Shia are focusing too much on lectures, mawalid, wafayat, and are too distracted or overwhelmed to start projects or even read books. Thank you for the wake up call
Simple. 1 people pick up other books because of their appearance (marketing) and Easy to read language. Almost all shia books give you a headache from the first paragraph. Words like obligatory, compositeness or connotation.... All our books need to be re written and re designed. All the designs need to be unique modern and high quality.
we’ll done. Continue your path no matter what. We are short of western educated speakers! more education co-existing in the west, without feeling left out on the many tasty treats in these places
“Beasts are concerned with their bellies. Carnivores are concerned with assaulting others. Women are concerned with the adornments of this ignoble life and the creation of mischief herein” - Sermon 153
Assalamualikum sayyed. Always love your speech during ramadhan since many years ago. Respectfully would you kindly tell us the reason why you have tattoo ? Isn’t it forbidden in islam ?
Nahzul Balagha is translation of Holy Quran. After read Nahzul Balagha, its apparent that Alhamdulillah, like our beloved Prophet (SA) ,our beloved Master Mawla Ali (A.S) directly guided by ALLAH RABBUL ALAMIN
786 Salaam, Sayed Ammar! Thank you🙏🙏 for still having this page open! Hopefully😉 my request to you will be picked up by your admin and conveyed to you! May I please request you to put together a book that would have all the possible background notes that you know/that exist regarding the letters, khutbas in Nahjul Balagha? Such a book/guide to NB would make the readers understand the context of these letters, etc. way more, and would enrich, enlighten us no end!! It's a mammoth task, I know, I know!! But I also know that if Allah allowed you to produce the outstanding, 👏unbelievable 👌 series describing what took place on Ashura hour by hour last Muharram, and allowed you to MEMORIZE what you wished to memorize, He, no doubt, will also help you put such a resource together! "Et à coeur vaillant, rien d'impossible !!" Et vous êtes vaillant, cher Sayed ! I'll repeat this request in the comment page of your most recent "prise de parole" (Google could not give the right translation for this, my first language is French!), in case no admin comes here... (I know next to nothing😓 about the way things work on RU-vid...) Agréez, cher Sayed, l'expression anticipée de mes remerciements ! Que Dieu vous garde ! Aameen.
Salamun Alaikum. Could someone please tell me how to get a copy Nahjul Balagha delivered? I'm in the UK and want a hard copy to read. Thanks in advance.
Does anyone know where I can get the complete book in English translation. I have been looking for it but it comes in small chapters and quotes. Thank you in advance.
You find in sunni works like al-Bukhari, some companions such as ibn Abbas and ibn Mas'oud also said "salooni". Not to take anything away from Imam Ali and his knowledge.
Seriously, the 2nd greatest book? Sermon 80, on women: O people! Women are deficient in Faith, deficient in shares and deficient in intelligence. As regards the deficiency in their Faith, it is their abstention from prayers and fasting during their menstrual period. As regards deficiency in their intelligence it is because the evidence of two women is equal to that of one man. As for the deficiency of their shares that is because of their share in inheritance being half of men. So beware of the evils of women. Be on your guard even from those of them who are (reportedly) good. Do not obey them even in good things so that they may not attract you to evils.”
This Sermon was after the battle of jamal, who was led by Aisha against imam Ali. It is not about all women, this is about women who are doing wrong. The quran also says: “Indeed man becomes rebellious, when he considers himself without need.” You are viewing this out of context. 😁
S25. The highest aspiration of women is to give charm to this worldly life and to create mischief in it. Now, this could be the reason 3.5 billion people (women) would not read this book .
@@ah6701 But it doesn’t say Aisha. It says all women. So I can understand that he was upset and went on a tirade against women but if This book is supposed to be from an infallible person I don’t understand any other way to take it then at face value. It says women are bad not this woman. It’s Occam’s razor
What is the use of a book if it cannot be Authenticated. Do you even know who wrote for sure? The heart of what is wrong with Shiasm is the reliance of fabricated narrations and explaining away clear Quran verses because of deviance. End result is polytheism and Imam worship.
The real problem is when someone who hasn’t studied for years on how to authenticate literature thinks he has the right to pass a judgement of authenticity. The difference between Shia and Sunni educational facilities is when the Sunnis study, they study Sunni methodology only, but the Shia study both, and then compare both, and try to destroy both, but the Shia are only able to destroy the Sunni methodology because they are man-made, whereas the methodology of the Shia comes from Imam Jafar Al-Sadiq (AS), and he gets it from his father (AS), and he gets it from his father (AS), and he gets it from his father (AS), and he gets it from his father Imam Ali AS and he gets it from The Prophet (ص), and he gets it from Allah SWT.
@ItsJustVenomOfficial Have heard the claim. Here is downer for you and any other Shia who just go by what he Ayyatullah tells him. *Bring a Single Authentic Mutassil Hadith according to Shia Standards?* You cannot.
@@HajjiJesus I’m not sure what knowledge you have, but you need to realise you can’t use your own personal authentication method and make others abide by it. In Shia literature, Ziyara Ashura has a chain of narration leading back to Allah SWT. It is a hadith Qudsi. This can only happen when you have a direct link to Allah SWT (Quran 5:55), only the purified ones have that link (Quran 33:33).
@@ItsJustVenomOfficial You really dont have any knowledge about what Shiams is, don't you? I have been debating Shias for the last 10 years, if not more. Check it out, Shias have standards about Authentic hadiths. *Another downer for you. We Muslims have no problems of Ahlul Bayt, be they Mohamed, Jafar, and the rest. What we have problems are the people narrating from. If you don't now, there is not single Hadith from 1 Ahlul Bayt to another without passing people like Zurara except 1, and that is not one you will like it. Imagine this, you have gold chain and the last part of the chain that reaches you is made of rotten garbage. What is the use of that Golden chain to you if it cannot reach you. Similarly, that is the problem you have. Again, bring single Authentic chained Hadith to Prophet SAW that confirms Shia Standard of Authentication?* Here is an easy one, not easy as you will get to know if you search for it. *Bring Single known by people, vouched Ahlul Bayt, Shia Student of Ahlul Bayt which should give you good peremeter of where to take the knowledge of Ahlul Bayt?* Here is another, must be easy. It is not as you will also figure out. *Bring one single Shia student/person or none-student, that Ahlul Bayt associated with, like they married from, them or their sons, or they gave their daughters to?* What this proves is that Ahlul Bayt have no relations with Shia, claimers. The people they associated with, married from, give their daughters to, lived and died in their midst were the cream of the cream of the Muslims, Companions and the children of the companions, same one Shia day and night curse. *Might God curse those who curse the rightous people.*
@@HajjiJesus In The Name Of Allah SWT, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful. It is clear that these last 10 years have been wasted, as you have failed to grasp the measure of authenticity of the Blessed Shia. The Shia use multiple tools to authenticate the hadith, not just Ilm Rijal, in contrast to the sunnis. Most notably, is The Holy Quran, which is the strictest of authentication methods, and which by many hadiths fail. Once again, unlike sunnis, The Shia don’t have a “sahih” book, because the only fully authentic book is The Quran. It is your fault for using your own methodology and putting it on The Shia and thinking that you’re right. That lack is from you, not from the truth, for the truth is not what you want it to be; it is the truth. You either bend to its power, or live a lie. Amongst other disgusting “sahih” narrations, the sunnis have one distorted view of The Holy Prophet (ص), one where he continuously tries to commit suicide, he urinates while standing up, and the best part is his own wife aisha claims he was bewitched (sahih bulhari 3175), something which only the oppressors would say to The Holy Prophet ص (Quran 17:47) May Allah SWT withdraw all of His blessing from the oppressors, be it his wife or the people around him, just like how He withdrew His blessing from the wives of Prophet Lut (as) and Prophet Noah (as)
