I just got home from a trip to visit family. We were on the road for 15 hours the previous day, but I was excited to open these packages, and I wanted to share them with you :)

Literally I went directly to RU-vid. The only person I could find that swatched this polish was the Polish Mage and when she read off the description there was no purple in it!! 😑 and I guess I was just reading the photos as blue 😭 I am starting to Branch out a little bit more with purples but only dark purple!! I picked up the Great lakes lacquer from June's polish pickup, but I certainly would have never gotten a magnetic purple 😝

You are too cute! Like some other people in the comments already pointed out, you seem so real and your love for nail polish is palpable! Thank you! I usually watch so many swatches before I purchase a nail polish, but the baroness X they don't send their polish to very many people for swatching videos. At least it's dark purple 🤪

I too just came back from my vacation and I have so much catching up to do. We went to visit my family the last two weeks and I just got back as well and drove down there so I totally understand about having your car looking like a hot mess after a road trip. We always try to get it clean before we go on a road trip, which I know sounds weird, but it’s always nice getting in a car when it’s already clean and then trying to keep it clean and trying to go on a road trip and Having to be in a messy car. Maybe it’s just a mind game to me. I love the ones that you chose for wildflower locker. And I think that Baroness ex is going to look so pretty. Please forgive any grammatical errors and typos. I’m using talk to text at the time of this comment.

Hiii funny friend! 😂 Small doses of DARK purple are manageable! I wore a polish this week that was slightly too grayish yellow and every time I looked at my hand, I pictured stained nails! The one you have is dark enough, I hope, to look like a true polish. 🤗

Yep, I'm going to start wearing dark purples here and there to see how they feel 😁 Oh my goodness, that is definitely an option with that yellow, out of the corner of my eyes I just could see extra yellow nails. I hope it doesn't look like that 😒

Hopefully it looks nice next to my skin tone. It could look extra glowy cuz it's catching a light in my nail room, so I have to see if it looks that nice in real life wearing it 🤗

Oh my goodness, right after I filmed this I went straight to RU-vid and the only person I could see that swatched it was the polished Mage and she described everything in the Polish and never said a word about purple. And I guess that purple tone read blue to me through the screen. I have been thinking since I'm making videos solely about nail polish. I should try to give purples a try so I'm starting with deep dark type purples. I just ordered the Great lakes lacquers from PPU June

You could try magnetizing the Baroness with the velvet effect, as that should bring the green-blue to the top.

I haven't tried the Velvet effect yet. I keep hearing about that 30 lb magnet. Have you tried it?

@@JenniferDufoe Yes! I love the Looney Tunes magnet, it has renewed my interest in magnetic polishes. I also recommend the little magnet stand for the cat eye effect. I hate holding the magnet myself, I always move my hand and make a mess. If you want to use that big magnet you have, you can attach it to one of the wands that brands have and stick the wand in between the pages of a book. Adjust the height, slide your finger under it, and Bob’s your uncle!

It's so funny that you're saying that because my husband saw me using that magnet and he built me a tiny little chair type of thing is made out of wood and my finger slides right under it. I haven't used it yet so hopefully it's at the right height that it'll work

Your videos are always great! So glad you had a great time. Btw, I have several very curved nails and I’ve never had a problem with WFs brushes. They fan out to make it easy to get the sidewalls of your nail. Enjoy your polishes!❤

I wondered why you didn’t show the Cuticula subscription. I got that little magnet but haven’t used it yet. Probably try it later this week. I switched jobs and my polish is lasting so well now and it’s so pretty I can’t stop gazing at it. 😂

Oh that's so awesome that you got a job that doesn't chip your nail polish. I worked in fast food for a long time so I couldn't even paint my nails at all. It was a sad time 😭

@@JenniferDufoe Yeah. I did that in a school cafeteria. Hated it so much. Where I worked before I could polish but my hands were wet so much and all the stuff I did just tore them up. They’re actually growing and not breaking. So happy!

I always love nail polish content, but I also really enjoy getting to know you too! So I don’t find it erroneous or boring at all. It’s nice to get to know a fellow PNWer who loves nail polish too 😊 I don’t know how you managed all that time in the car though! That sounds brutal. Most I’ve done is 5-6 hours and that was enough 😅

Before covid me and my husband lived in a fifth wheel so we could travel and he was working on the road. so I do have some experience with long drive times but never that long. I wouldn't have been able to do it but my husband doesn't mind driving so I just take over so he can take a nap and then once he wakes up he gets back behind the wheel

@@JenniferDufoe Nope, I’m 47 and I still look for the adults when something happens. Then I realize that I’m the adult everyone else is waiting to handle the situation and I wish there were some adultier adults around. I feel about as mature as I did when I was 27. Except my back hurts and I’m scared of a bathroom slip-and-fall.
