Let me clarify * for people that want to do nails if your not going to school. Then only do “ clients “ as in your co workers , family , friends and just people you know. Dont take in people you dont know/ random “ clients “

That’s why I luv Florida no state board test. It’s 1735 for classes and books and kit well that’s at the technical school I’m going to start in Jan 9th.

Excellent advice on the school topic. I did just that. Practice practice practice first. School will only teach you theory and a little application. Also, I found that my friends were very supportive until I wanted to practice on them. Then they seemed to be busy. If you are in Maryland-MINT-Maryland Institute of Nail Technology school is the best and very supportive.

How do you deal with dust and lint? I'm at my wit's end with getting a new bottle of base or top gel and in 4 uses it has some lint in it. I use lint free wipes, I have separate brushes and a separate bottle of top gel for glitters and powders. I have a dust collector but the outflow vent kinda blows dust everywhere so I barely use it. Are there better ones that don't do this? Any tips for keeping the area lint free while working? Thank you for sharing all your info in your videos. You have such a wealth of knowledge and it's very appreciated! Your work is beautiful!

For gaining IG following I know your advice is to post consistently and at least 2 to 3 times a day but how do you have enough content when you're just starting out to maintain that consistency? I really love your videos I think you're design is amazing and it came out gorgeous. I love all the information that you gave us and all the great advice. I have a question. I need a white gel nail polish that is very opaque and self-levels but is not runny. Can you please suggest one? Also, how do you top coat your chromed nails without contaminating your top coat.? I have two different top coats that I can't use now because I've painted over the chrome, very lightly and it pigmented my top coats. I would love your advice. Thank you so much, much love Tanya❤🎉🎉

Question?...when doing press on nails is it best just to use nude polish when trying to do ombres and French, etc. I've noticed in videos I've watched you're not using an acrylic to create a lot of designs. Im kind of confused about whether or not I should be using acrylic at all when creating my press ons?

Another amazing primer is by Young Nails and it’s called Protein Bond. It genuinely is thee best primer ever. It’s nickname in the nail community is Liquid Gold. Lol. Just for another amazing primer if anyone wanted to know. Also I use Glitterbels acrylic and they are amazing they also have hema free monomer and do a little try me kit that is soo worth the money. Soo for anyone wanting to try out acrylics I’d recommend getting that kit. 🫶🏻

You get these videos up so fast, I don't know how you do it.... I just wanted to say, you give the advice of people practicing and doing nails before going to school, to see if they even like it. While I agree and get the point your trying to make, please don't take actual clients. In California if you are not licensed and accept money for doing nails, the state board can fine you, put a 2 year suspension on you, or permanently block you from ever doing nails again. Young Nails explains this in many videos they have. Practicing is allowed, taking clients is not!! California does not mess around... lol All it takes is 1 person to report you, and apparently they investigate all reports. So, your advice is okay, but its the wording... Working on friends and family for practice is allowed, but once there is money evolved it's a big No, No... But, you should do this with any field your thinking of going into, check it out before hand, until you've spent a day in the life of, you just don't know... Thanks for the video... 😊

Would you be able to do a video of your editing process? I record videos of me doing nails but they come out so long like 15 minutes.
