also what do you use for disinfecting -just regular alcohol or??? and do you work with acrylics now because in one video you said you didn't like the smell and do you do pedis? this is one of the best nail room tours !!

+RiRi Ray I use Preempt RTU for a surface cleaner and disinfectant. I also use Let's Touch for a metal disinfectant. I don't like working with acrylics so choose not to, i just do gel on the toes not a full pedi because I'm not a foot person lol

Can you give some details about that light on your desk? I know it came from Canada nails supply but I am not licensed so that's a no go for me. I really want one similar to its size to put in the nail room I am taking over at my house for my nail cave. It's a home office with builtins and a desk. I'm stoked but want a longer light like this one. This is the same light that talia has from talias nail tales and hers too came from CNS. A brand or dimensions or any detail would be amazing. Great room with loads of goodies. Tfs!!!!

Where did you buy that long lamp on your desk? Does it work well for taping videos. Does it have enough light? Bright?

Hi. I'd really love to know where you buy all of your stuff that you get in bulk. Everything that is possible to get in bulk I want to buy. I have the same idea as you are doing with clients each having their own personal ziploc bag with their personal items in it and their names on them. The one problem I'm having is finding things in bulk to buy. So please if you could help me out with where to go or what site to look up I would so greatly appreciate it. Very nice room! may I ask what state you're in or area ? I'm in California in the Inland Empire.. I noticed a couple of your prices wow it would be wonderful to get that here! In my understanding unless you're close to Hollywood or Beverly Hills or Palm Springs we don't get that kind of money! Here full sets run 40 to 50 and color change with art ours runs 30 to 40 and if it's a real simple fill or short nails it's like 20 bucks.

what do people do to cut down on odor when doing nails at home? or an apartment

shelbychamel I use sculpted gel products not Acrylic, so I don't have the odor. I have a kaline vent that sucks in the dust when I efile. They are suppose to help with odor as well if you have any.

shelbychamel, one of the nail tech youtubers recommended an air diffuser with essential oil. It works well for me when I do any acrylics. But most of the time I don't use it because my acrylic monomer smells a lot better than my neighbors cannabis stench (I live in a duplex). 😉

How long do your products last if they don't get used? I'm just scared that they will expire if I buy in bulk.

Rachel Ivins if your just starting out I wouldn't advise buying a bunch of products. Build your clientele first then as you build it you can purchase more. The sculpting gels do come in different sizes if your concerned they will sit a long time. Hope that helps 😊
