This should have been titled Boogers and Astroids. j/k he cracks me up. Thank you so much for all of your FREE instruction. its priceless. Youre the best. Thank you!!
I appreciate what your saying in prep, because with T. T. and her purple terminator file which is very course, and filing the natural nail in "the direction the nail grows" back and forth to create a lot of etching in the nail, is causing damage. You are very gentle with your removing shine, as opposed to roughing up the natural nail. Thank you for that!!
I absolutely know that I'm super late on writing a comment for this video. Heck I am not sure anyone will see this. If you do see the video I just want to thank you for explaining the step-by-step techniques of your trade. You're like seriously a master now technician. You explain step by step with such ease. You don't fumble your words. You are just so comfortable and very sure and what you're doing when explaining. It really helps me to know that you know what you're doing and I can trust that what you're telling me is straight up going to work as a beginner. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I have learned more in this clip than what I have in the previous 30 clips I’ve watched before this. I am a starter and the way you teach is absolutely brilliant!! Much love from South Africa ❤️🇿🇦
This is single handedly the most helpful video I have watched about applying acrylic EVER. And I truly mean that. Thank you for giving us this information for free. I have failed so many times applying acrylic but I feel like this gave me a confidence boost. I definitely am a subscriber now. Thanks again. ❤️
This is very helpful. When I graduated from school we learned everything by hand so the efile is foreign to me. But watching your videos really helped me. Thank you so much!
Im starting to do nails bc i need to start supporting my family with the money and THIS VIDEOS ARE AMAZING. Most of the nail techs that upload videos in spanish are afraid to pass tips because they think we will steal clients or viewers or idk, so this has been a life saver, thank you.
36+ years doing enhancements and I still absolutely love watching Greg teach me all over again the basic 101's we all need from time to time. Awesome job buddy.🤓👏📯⭐
As someone who just started yesterday with making beads..... THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!!!!!! I love the nail community and how helpful everyone is at helping us all be great*** I also picked up the YN primer and I loooooovvveeee it!!!!!!!
Omgosh!! ...hi... yeah so licensed cosmetologist here, for 2 years now, I had a “waterski” instructor......I learned SO MUCH by far in your video then I did from my nail tech instructor, everything you said NOT to do I always did, and I am constantly practicing and practicing, I’m so happy I found this thank you soooo much for this video!!!
I’ve watched many vids on this and this one is the goat 🐐. This is the only one that helped me to form my beads correctly can’t wait to watch more of youngnails.
I ordered my acrylic kit from YN today and I’m so excited. I’ve done gel for about 8 years and never got into acrylic. This acrylic actually makes me excited to use it paired with the knowledge this channel has given me.
Ciao Greg, so I need to GI Joe my own hand because I don't have a hand 🤣🤣 thank goodness have you signature brush no boogars no asteroids thanks for helping that is my next step acrylic. Hugs from Italia
These videos should make people realize and understand that most youtube "nail experts" and tutorialists dont know what they are doing point blank and have some nastey habits. So glad that I found Young Nails Inc as an amature/self taught and not a seasoned artist. They have changed my world view on nails and nail art.
When you're watching a YN video, and you realise they didn't teach you sh*t in college haha! I learnt everything I know so far through this channel. Thank you 🙏
I don't know when you with to nail school but in 1996 I finished nail school and everything I know today I taught myself. In school back then they only teach you about polishing the nails and cleaning them that it I learn how to lay the acrylic on my own it came with a lot of practice.
That was awesome! I wish I found y’all sooner!!! I developed a gel allergy. I’m hoping and praying - (yea I said praying) that I’m not allergic to acrylic. I never used to be. I’ve decided I want to go to nail school. I want to do this professionally. So I’m eager to search all of your videos to see how I can do this and if I can do this. Thank you again. This was so helpful.
Thank you so much I'm on like my 5th acrylic set and this video has answered so many questions and helped me in sooo many different areas! YOUNG NAILS HAVE THE BEST TUTORIALS🤞❣💅
Oh my goodness I come across your page on Facebook and I followed you, also come to RU-vid to be your subscriber because you are super great when it comes to teaching ❤️😭❤️👏👏👏
I am self teaching myself and your video just help correct my application I was doing everything wrong im now picking up beads that are not dry and that I can work with. You are awesome
Please could you do a video about how to fill a nail properly? Sometimes I feel like a fill is a lot more work than a new set and maybe I'm just removing too much product, I don't know. I'd love to see an in depth video about it!
I have had acrylic powder for two years now probably if not longer and I have not for the life of me been able to figure out how to make it work I could not work with it that’s why I went into jail products with so I had more time to work with it and didn’t have to worry about the consistency it came in the consistency I needed watching just a few of y’all’s videos I’ve been able to actually work with it the acrylic powder I tried so many times on my own and just could not do it I really appreciate you guys doing these videos I apologize for the lack of punctuation it’s hard for me to say punctuation when I’m talk to text I have an MS in my hand sometimes don’t type as well as I could that’s why I’m not a professional nail technician if my hands weren’t bad a lot of time I totally would want to be a professional nail technician because I absolutely love doing nails but for now I’m just an amateur and I can do mine and I’m learning how to be able to do my friends and families. But it’s videos like these that allow me to learn how to do it because I know trying to go and take formal classes wouldn’t work for me for many reasons with my other health issues so thank you again
Self taught with acrylic and polygel, loved it so much I’m getting licensed so I can take clients part time… protein bond legit changed my nail game. My nails looked beautiful but were popping off as a whole nail within a week, not normal… acid primers almost always irritate a finger or two… non acid were not strong enough… my first protein bond set on myself lasted 3 weeks before I soaked off to do a different set! Lesson learned, buy the good stuff as it saves money in the long run because I won’t have clients coming back from issues. 😉
Your demonstration is outstanding n informative ,you teach perfect ,your speech fit in my mind quickly n happy to know method of acrylic n thnx to teach us ☺️
Thank you very much for your kind sharing in teaching ... I thought using a size 6 brush was the reason i was getting booger 😂size pearls ending up with bunch of patching and overflowing cuticle.. Will definitely try again with the bounce bounce bounce technique and not draining almost all the liquid out👏😊 ❤💕💞my admiration to all of you and Greg's patient way of teaching.. Thank you❤
Just got my YN Trainer Hand!! And I LOVE IT!!! I also don’t care for the tips that come with it which is why I went a head and ordered the refill tips with it and I really love that long size instead!!! I can’t wait to get a hold of the efile and dust collector!!! I can’t stay off the website lol yes I’m a YN groupie! 🥰
Thank you! I love your beginner videos. I’m a DIY-er with polygel and hope to graduate myself to acrylic eventually. Your instruction is awesome and the choice of adjectives is hilarious to boot. I’ll never be able to look at a bead without a booger/ asteroid comparison now 🤣
I just ordered a polygel kit I'm worried. They make it look so easy but I'm having issues wth the beads but I'm hoping the polygel will b easier side they said it don't harden until it's cured so I'm hoping it's easier for me. But I don't want to give up on acrilics cause it's hard I want to do both.
This was EXTREMELY helpful. I have been holding the brush in the powder I never knew the bouncing method nor how to properly get the monomer. I will definitely try this soon
Thank you for this video. I'm currently trying to practice arcylic, I've been doing polygel for a while because I was scared to mess with acrylic but now I'm trying it. (I'm still terrible at both) But thank you for this video because I have seen different videos on picking up acrylic and I have been super confused.
Use alcohol instead of slip solution with polygel. Use full cover tips.. base coat the inside of the full cover tip and cure it. Add your polygel to the full cover tip (two beads ) apply to your prepped nail and cure. Leave the full cover tip on . These suckers won’t budge until you are ready to remove them! Lol it’s called the lazy girl polygel method.. but I learned that if I don’t have base coat on my nail and base coat on the inside of the fake nail they will separate. I know this sounds like a long description but it makes everything super easy. I’ve learned through trial and error . The base coat thing I learned from a RU-vidr but I can’t remember her name : /
