I had color time with my little brother (18 years apart). He told me I can only draw squares. I tried to haggle but it was draw squares or watch him throw a fit so I chose to draw squares… I didn’t realize it at the time but he also wanted us to count the squares and write the number at the bottom of the picture 😅 I still don’t know where he got that from but all his drawings for like a year was squares with the exception of his draw your family assignments from school

Not really. A kid can only give semi vague description.... no guarantee that it will look nice. The reason it looks good is mostly because the cake maker is skilled, she knows what color and design go well together, so I would credit her instead of the kid. Like yeah the kid says purple but there are many different kinds of purple. Some look like crap, some looks magical and nice. It's up to the cake maker to choose which purple would look good
Something most adults loose over time as a result of childhood conditioning is the imagination of their inner child. Children’s imagination is absolutely incredible. Very very good idea about the Uni-kitty cake and created beautifully 🌺❤️.
I’m not into the unicorn cakes at all - maybe cuz it’s a trend 😂 But that mane has got to be the most beautiful piping I’ve ever seen. I would love a whole cake piped like that - or a big tray of cupcakes. So beautiful!
I like how they look, but I feel like they wouldn't be great to eat. You'd either get way too much buttercream or almost no buttercream. Or maybe that's just adult-me thinking and it would actually be good because I could never have too much buttercream as a kid. So the pieces with more buttercream are for the kids and the ones with little buttercream are for the adults.
Those colours are so vibrant and the finishing you done on cake is just awesome ❤❤❤ Overall you made this cake of that level that nobody can find a fault in it
Such a beautiful cake! Love the concept. Trends can be off putting or obsessively focused on. Personally, I do not care if it is a trend or not. I like what I like, and I love this! She must have been so excited. 💚

It's gorgeous and I'm sure she loved it. My 5 year old son is one of those kids that would be this specific about something he wanted too. Kids minds are great.

I love it. I made my kiddo a unicorn cake for their 6th birthday but my piping skills were garbage at the time so I used Froot by the Foot instead. Hopefully I will get another shot at a unicorn cake (or hell, I'll make myself one for my 40th).

Oh I absolutely loved this. I spent $300 on a unicorn cake for my daughter's 3rd Birthday last year and didn't look half as good as yours and the cake was incredibly dry and not worth the $300 at all. Your cake looks amazing and I am wondering how much something like this would cost as I'd be more than willing to pay for one of your cakes for my daughter's 4th birthday this year.
