in America, foundations can KEEP 95% of all donations for expenses and salary.....only 5% must be given to beneficiares. Charities can keep only 8% for salary and expenses, and must give 92% of donations to beneficiaries of the charity. THAT's why Archewell is a foundation.....they call it a charitable foundation, but the word charitable is just for show. They can keep 95% of the money for themselves. ONe rumour, besides Oprah as the mystery $10 million donor, is that it was part of Harry's book advance of 20 million. .... the Harkles get 95% of the money back to spend as they please, and it WAY lowers their tax bill. Markle thought when she married Todger she wouldn’t have to work, she thought she would be swanning around all day in ball gowns and tiaras going to premieres. She was horrified when she realised she was expected to earn her keep and that is why she wanted to leave the RF

Also a lot of these charitable acts they are bragging about doing are piggybacking on well established charities that have been doing the work for years. The Harkles make a donation and then imply it’s their big project. I hate the way they play at being Lord and Lady Bountiful giving help to the ordinary little people. Many Royals and celebrities give generously of their time and money but they don’t make it all about themselves, they highlight the charity or the problems.

Australian tour was so difficult that she didn't even do all of it, begging off some engagements. The walk snouts she did do, she rushed past some people so she could linger with the ones near cameras. And they say they were great on that tour!

This is the reason William and Kate had to split the original foundation they had together, suddenly money wasn’t adding up, they did not want to be involved with the controversy, and after they separated, the Sussexes used the money to open new foundation. So basically UK money was taken.

Because of her narcissistic nature, I don’t think she’s really helping anyone. Sadly, I think she wanted to marry someone like H, thinking that her life would be a cakewalk, all smiles for the camera, living in a castle, being privileged and pampered. And at the same time, trying to find ways to be a victim of something, anything. At her age, I’d expect more. But it’s a character flaw. I don’t say that meanly, as I have flaws myself.

Trg looked into these donations and gave a good explanation as to what has happened. Tax dodge for the big donor. I thought that they would get more money from the SS but I guess they don't believe their rantings because if each gave $10 that only makes 450 squaddies.
Seeing as H&M are always prattling on about Mental Health, I would have thought they'd set up free counseling for the kids who survived the Ulvade shooting...and their families. That would have been a) a no brainer for their "brand" and b) something that actually would have helped these people in a very tangible way. Building a plsyground seems like a "Band-Aid" response designed to make the Harkles appear to be doing something. Just like donating a carton of old, beginning to rot fruit and vegetables to impoverished kids in Harlem. Both "donations" are empty in my view. They don't truly help the recipients, but it looks good for the Harkles to be SEEN to be doing something. It's insulting in the end. I'd rather the Harkles didn't do anything at all.
