FYI How this cover came about. Toby Gad, the cowriter of this song released an album last month called Piano Diaries. The album consists of reworked versions of hits he had cowritten for other artists. He asked different artists to provide the vocals for his album including Angelina for this song. There is another version with stripped down instrumentation, only piano and strings. Angelina was 2yo when Beyonce released this song.... Scary

The production format here is very much like that which Bruce Springsteen did with his 'Academy Award' winning rendition of 'Streets of Philadelphia' where he is shown walking along the city streets while singing. Angelina's vocals far surpass the monotone style that Bruce applied throughout his song and simply work to electrify anyone viewing and listening to her. We are treated to her 'signature' low resonance vocalizing, which switches to her higher singing ability as she weaves the song into a back and forth manner that is beautifully done.

Not a cover really, Toby Gad wrote the song with BC Jean, who sang it before Beyonce. Beyonce had commercial success with the song, as a cover of BC Jean, and so people associate it with her. Toby asked Angelina to sing his song on his upcoming album Piano Diaries. That version is the one in the church, this one has different instrumentation and I assume that it has been released by Angelina. Personally, I like the other version better.❤️❤️❤️❤️👣

Not a Beyonce song. I prefer the version of the song in the church. Its less instruments and Angelina's voice is more prominent. Watch her in the church...more than beautiful.

It actually not a Beyonce' song folks, Toby Gad and B.C. Jean wrote it and Beyonce begged them if she could cover it. Now when Toby Gad was working on the piano Diarie series he asked Angelina to sing it for the series, He Didn't ask Beyonce' cuz Angelina did a much better job with it. I guess Angelina's isnt a cover if the writer of the song is playing the Piano next to you while you sing it in a church? Im not sure how the rules go on that ? Either way its just plain Beautiful. When I first heard angelina was singing a song If I were a boy I said Oh No she's singing about a sex change or that transvestite stuff. Then after I heard it. Its in my top three favorite songs of hers ever. God Bless her great reaction Mike and Ginger.
