Todd is a legend. He has united so many different fanbases together all in the love of extreme music. Wether you're a hardcore kid, an OG death metal head, a crust punk, or into grind, Nails has something for you. Also, shot out to Taylor Young, who was the OG drummer of Nails, he is a legend too. Hes not only behind other great bands like Twitching Tongues and Gods Hate, he's produced so many good albums by bands like Drain, Judiciary, Sunami, Xibalba, Momentum, Torena, Tribal Gaze, and Mindforce

Nails was the reason i got into hc. I was tiptoeing into the scene a bit but when i went to the nails/twitching tongues/code orange tour it blew my fucking mind and i dove head first into my local scene. During nails the venue was an absolute warzone. People were throwing trash cans and barstools. Bottle were broken over heads, noses were broken, the whole 9 yards. Still one of my favorite shows of all time. I also have issues with being pissed off and nails is oddly soothing/calming in a weird way because It fills like it goes as fast as my brain and matches my temper. One if my all time favorites.

Todd is such a nice dude, I saw them in Baltimore in 2016 or 2017 I believe, he talked to me for probably 20 mins about music and life, and just being who you are, and it dosent matter what music you listen to with friends, if you want to create something you’re interested in, do it and people will listen if you have something to say

Lot of respect for Todd about how he handled the question about his former bandmates. One of the most important guitarists and song writers in hardcore. Lowest of the Low is the most important record in hardcore for me.

HOLYSHIT...I honestly thought Nails was done. I love Nails. My fav song was their colab with Max Cavalera. Endless Resistance. That build up, riff and beat drop goes super hard. Looking forward to the new shit.

Nails is one of the few hardcore type bands I can listen to, probably because they pretty much sounds like metallic-leaning grindcore

Saw Nails play Temples Fest in Bristol a few years ago. As a trio they fucking CRUSHED. Sounded so so heavy even against other bands like Trap Them, Will Haven and Converge.

I was late to discovering Nails. I found out about them when “you will never be one of us” came out and it blew my mind because of how heavy it is. Just a wall of sound coming at you. I’m Happy to see they’re back and can’t wait to hear the new record. The 2 songs they’ve put out are really good.

Todd rules. We were playing in the HC scene when Todd was just starting to play in bands.. he was always the most enthusiastic about music, asking questions about gear etc.. nothing but the best memories. Hey Todd.

And all of these other genres, styles, and types of music (evenly, I don’t play favorites or listen to xyz more).
